Lumahok si Jessica Sanchez sa unang season ng America’s Got Talent (AGT) na ipinalabas noong Hunyo-Agosto 2006.
Napasama siya sa wildcard, pero bigong makapasok sa grand finals.
Sa 11th season ng American Idol na ipinalabas noong Enero-Mayo 2012, runner-up si Jessica sa winner na si Phillip Phillips.
Sa 20th season ng America’s Got Talent noong Mayo-Setyembre 2025,tinanghal si Jessica na kampeon.

JESSICA SANCHEZ IN GOD'S PERFECT TIMING
Kumusta ang kanyang buhay at mga natutunan bago ang tagumpay niya sa AGT noong nakaraang Setyembre?
“Everything I believe is God’s timing,” mabining pahayag ni Jessica sa zoomcon noong Marso 13, 2026.
“And I believe that, you know, I went through the things that I went through, I came in second on Idol, and God said… He didn’t say ‘no’ but He said ‘not yet.’
“And He needed me to really build my character through the down times, through the quiet times.
“I actually stepped away from music for a while. I mean, of course, I would post, you know, singing covers and stuff.
“But I really was struggling with, you know — is this for me? I’ve been doing this for so long, and I feel like there’s no breakthrough moment for me, and I just was really ahh depressed with my music career.
“I didn’t know what was gonna happen. And so, you know, 20 years later, I come back on AGT. Just kind like to test… you know, another chance.
“And God really answered my prayer that I have for many, many years. Those quiet seasons.
“And now I really know, you know, God has a mission for me. He has a purpose for me in music, and really the Lord is my foundation.
“So once I got that confirmation through this whole experience, like I said, I really am excited to give back to the people that supported me because, honestly, I would not be here without God’s grace, and without the support of all of my fans, my followers.
“I’m so, so grateful.”

JESSICA'S HOMECOMING CONCERT
Ang homecoming concert ni Jessica na Jessica Sanchez: Live In Manila ay itatanghal sa Mayo 16, 2026, Sabado, sa Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
Panauhin dito sina Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievera, Darren Espanto, Morissette, at James Reid.
Facebook post ni Jessica ngayong Abril 9, Huwebes, kaugnay sa nalalapit niyang concert sa bansa: “I’m really, really excited for this show…
“We’ve been putting so much into it, and I feel like it’s going to be one of those nights you just feel from start to finish. I can’t wait to be back on stage and share this with you guys…”

Noong panahong lugmok ang kanyang music career, what kept her going? Ano ang matututunan ng ibang singers sa pinagdaanan niyang journey?
“You know, a big thing for me was, and I feel like this is a thing with a lot of creatives, not just in music but in creative businesses and jobs... I wrapped my identity in my success of how well I did with my career,” pagtatapat ni Jessica Sanchez.
“So if I was failing in my career, I felt like a failure. And I had to go through these low seasons to realize that... that is not my whole identity. It’s just a part of my identity.
“And now it doesn’t feel like I have to do this since I get to do this. And it’s such a blessing, and it’s a beautiful thing now instead of a stress.
“A stress that I put myself like I had to measure up because honestly there’s so much going on in the world and there’s so many, you know, different types of people that we honestly will never measure up, you know.
“You find your community, you find your people that would love you, and you’re just authentically you. And that’s the thing that I’ve learned in my down seasons.
“And as soon as I learned that, and I came back on AGT completely myself, and knowing who I was with then, you know, God really bless that.
“So I think that’s my advice to the people, the artists that are struggling, you know, with their down seasons.
“Don’t wrap your whole identity in it. Just enjoy it. Love it. It is a beautiful gift from God.
“And sometimes you need those low seasons for the roller-coaster ride.”

JESSICA ON GOING THROUGH POSTPARTUM
Dumaan ba siya sa postpartum?
“Yes, I did,” natawang pag-amin ng 30-anyos na mang-aawit.
“I did, wow! It was, you know, like I said, I thought being on AGT nine months pregnant was a challenge.
“The first two weeks postpartum was probably the craziest experience I’ve ever gone through in my life. The hardest.
“I had no sleep. And I didn’t realize that, you know, after giving birth, you’re like immediately a mom. And it’s like ‘go’ time. And there’s no stopping.
“And so I really ahhmm have found a new strength in myself that I never thought I had.
“And you know I take my days day by day, and honestly, my daughter, she runs my schedule. So she’s the boss!
“And I’ve learned to love it and just kinda listen to her and get into a flow and now… I feel great.
“And to all the mothers that are going through the first month postpartum, you know, I’m praying for you but it all will be over very, very soon.
“And you know, just embrace your blessing that’s in your arms. That’s all I can say.”
