Magkaiba sila ng ka-loveteam. Ano ang nadiskubre niya kay Kathryn nang magtambal sila?
“I think Kath is… kind of who I expected she would be. She’s incredibly humble, and very talented.
“Super easy to get along with.
"But that’s always how I saw her since I would see her at ABS-CBN, ASAP, and other stuff. She’s very genuine.”
Anu-ano ang natutunan niya kay Kathryn?
“I love how hands-on Kath is when it comes to script. And the team really respects a lot of our suggestions, like, tweaks,” pagtatapat ni James.
“I think because of, you know, obviously our experience and our talents.
“So, yeah, that’s something I really admire, how hands-on she is, how she knows how to work with the cast.”
Gaano ka-supportive ang fans ni Kathryn, at ang kanyang fans, sa kanilang tandem?
“Super-supportive. In fact they started to merge nang konti… so it’s very exciting times!”
Magkaibang loveteam ang pinanggalingan nila — KathNiel at JaDine.
So, nag-mature na ang fans nila?
“Yeah, thank God!”

Anong klaseng project ba ang Someone, Someday? Light and romantic lang?
“I would say it’s more on the light side. It’s a fun concept around online dating. But it does get heavy at some point,” saad ni James.
“I would say it’s more on the light side.”
Paano in-adjust yung character niya pagdating sa Tagalog lines?
“Tagalog talaga yung karakter ko sa teleserye namin.”
Mas kaya na niyang mag-Tagalog?
“Kaya ko pero kailangan ng script. I can memorize it. But then pag nasa ganito, on the spot, nahihirapan ako,” tugon ni James.
“But yeah definitely, my character is gonna speak Tagalog in the show. It’s been a challenge.
“Kasi ano yung last teleserye ko? Till I Met You. That was like seven years ago.
“So it’s been a challenge. But it’s been fun.”

Inspirasyon daw ni James Reid ang girlfriend na si Issa Pressman sa pagsusulat ng mga kanta.
“I can’t help it. I think it’s the strongest emotion that I have right now,” sambit ni James.
“Our relationship has been an incredible ride. And the love grows more and more everyday.
“So it’s my strongest emotion that I feel right now. So that’s really what I write about. So yeah, I think, most of it is really inspired by her.”
Mas tumitibay raw ang kanilang pagmamahalan by choosing each other every day, at na-incorporate niya iyon sa kanta niyang "Pahinga" (2024).
Bahagi ng lyrics niyon, “Ikaw ay mas mahalaga/ Kaysa sa maging tama.”
Dagdag ni James, “So you know, really choosing each other over being right, or choosing each other over fights.
“You know just waking up and choosing each other everyday.”
Noong Valentine’s Day ay niregaluhan ni James si Issa ng iba’t ibang klase ng hikaw — beaded tribal earrings.
Nag-camping sila sa malapit sa Daraitan River sa Tanay, Rizal. First time yun ginawa ni James.
“Super-fun! It was secluded. Away from the city, and it was just the two of us,” sabi ni James.
“Super-fun, I recommend it!”

Gaano ka-supportive si Issa Pressman lalo pa’t may bago siyang leading lady, at patuloy siyang nagsusulat ng mga kanta?
“She’s incredibly supportive. In fact, she comes up with a lot of ideas for ahhmm like my character and how I can make it work,” pagsisiwalat ni James.
“So just no weirdness or anything like that, you know. We’re all professionals. We understand, you know, how it works, and she knows that it’s acting as a job.
“So she doesn’t take it very seriously. She’s been very helpful with helping me build my character as well.”

Siyanga pala, may distribution label si James sa Sony Music Publishing (SMP) Philippines kaya dumalo siya sa event sa MiraNila.
“I’m here as a Sony artist, also I believe I’m one of the first to be signed by Sony publushing as well… which I’m very excited for because I’ve never had a publisher,” sabi ni James.
Tinawag ang SMP PH event na The Global Home of Filipino songwriters.
Tampok sa mediacon sina Pablo ng SB19, Paolo Benjamin ng Ben&Ben, Roslyn Pineda na presidente ng SMP Asia, Stephanie Ortiz na general manager ng SMP PH, at Guy Henderson na presidente ng SMP International.

Kadi-discharge lang ni Gary V that day mula sa ospital dahil sa cellulitis.
