CINE SILIP FILM FESTIVAL MOVIES ON VMX
Sa pitong kalahok ng inaugural Cine Silip Film Festival noong Oktubre 22-28, tatlo ang nag-streaming na sa VMX — Maria Azama: Best P*rn Star noong Disyembre 12, Pagdaong noong Disyembre 23, at Salikmata noong Enero 2.
Sa pakiwari ko ay extended ang ilang mapangahas na eksena sa Pagdaong at Salikmata.
Sa Enero 16 ay streaming na sa VMX ang isa pang kalahok sa Cine Silip filmfest, yung Ang Lihim ni Maria Makinang.
Looking forward tayo na matunghayan sa VMX ang tatlo pang kalahok ng Cine Silip — Dreamboi, Haplos sa Hangin, at Babae sa Butas.
Yung Dreamboi ay dalawang beses na-X ng MTRCB, samantalang yung Haplos sa Hangin ay na-X sa unang rebyu.
Ang sabi ni Direk Rodina Singh, walang director’s cut ang Dreamboi. Kung ano ang ipinalabas sa mga sinehan, iyon lang daw iyon at walang ibang bersiyon.
Humakot ng walong awards ang Dreamboi, kabilang ang best picture, best director, best cinematography, at best supporting actor para kay Migs Almendras.
Ang best actor ay si Martin del Rosario para sa Haplos sa Hangin. Ang best actress ay si Angela Morena para sa Pagdaong. Ang best supporting actress ay si Chloe Jenna para sa Maria Azama: Best P*rn Star.

CELESTINA: BURLESK DANCER
Noong Marso 28 nag-streaming ang Celestina: Burlesk Dancer, na idinirek ni Mac Alejandre, mula sa panulat nila ni National Artist Ricky Lee. Ipinalabas ito sa mga sinehan noong Disyembre 4, 2024.
Ito ang ikalawang pelikula ng VMX na nagkaroon ng theatrical release.
Nauna ang Unang Tikim na nag-showing sa mga sinehan noong Agosto 7, 2024, at nag-VMX streaming noong Nobyembre 29, 2024.
