Ipagdiriwang ni Morissette ang 15th anniversary niya sa music industry sa concert na Ember sa Oktubre 28, 2025, Martes, sa Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
“I’m very excited but also very, very nervous also because I am producing this show as well,” pagtatapat ng Asia’s Phoenix sa mediacon noong Oktubre 1, Miyerkules, sa El Calle Food & Music Hall, Newport Mall, Pasay City.
“So, hindi lang ho ako performer dito. Marami pa ho akong ibang hats na sinuot for this show. But this is a dream concert for me.
“And so this is my gift also sa lahat ng mga supporters ko throughout the years… so I’m excited. Very, very excited!”

MORISSETTE CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY
Katorse anyos ang Cebuanang si Morissette nang lumahok sa Talentadong Pinoy ng TV5 noong 2010.
Kapagkuwan ay naging first runner-up siya sa pakontes ng TV5 na Star Factor, kung saan nagwagi si Eula Caballero.
Salaysay ni Morissette: “Andami na rin pong nangyari in the last 15 years… na parang as I look back, I’m just very, very grateful na there happens so many career highlights that I can look back on.
“Na it’s so hard to kind of pick specific ones. Kasi andami na din. I’m just very, very blessed, and very, very grateful na nangyayari yung lahat ngayon.
“Na in 15 years pa lang, I’d like to think, 15 years pa lang nangyari lahat iyon. And I’m already just very excited looking forward to hopefully 15 more years.”
Malaking achievement na para kay Morissette na tumagal siya ng 15 taon sa music industry.
Pagmamatwid ni Morissette: “We’re just very blessed we have so much talent. And it could be so easy to just take a step back and maybe like give… yung term ng iba, to give chance to others.
“But I feel like there’s a space for everyone to shine also. And as for me, di ba, parang hindi man laging pasabog but I know that I am continuously working on my craft.
“I’m still after growth after all these years, and that’s why parang I’m excited for what else could be in store for me ahh knowing that there’s still so much that I could still offer.”

MAJOR CONCERT
Noong 2018 pa ang huling major concert ni Morissette, na sa Big Dome din ginanap.
First time ni Morissette na maging concert producer sa Ember. Meron siyang vision sa 15th anniversary concert niya.
Pagsisiwalat ni Morissette: “Even before in-announce namin yung concert namin which was on my birthday this year, nung June pa lang in-announce na po namin itong concert namin, we were already doing rehearsals prior to that.
“I didn’t want to stress out so much na parang sobrang minamadali. I really wanted to really take good time to curate a really, really great show.”
Si Morissette mismo ang lumikha ng set list para sa Ember. Kinabisado niya ang kabuuan ng concert para hindi na siya tumingin sa teleprompter.
“I’m gonna make it a point na memorized ko talaga ang show na ito. Lahat ng songs, lahat ng gagawin!” bulalas ni Morissette.
“Like theater, di ba, na very ano… But my team has been going through all of the songs, and I’ve gone through all of the songs.
“And can I say this show is really a risk also for me. Vocally, honestly, it’s really a risk.
“Kasi, imagine niyo po lahat ng mga naging songs ko po, yung mga original songs — 'Akin Ka Na Lang,' 'Diamante,' 'Naririnig Mo Ba?' — pati 'Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.'
“Yung apat pa lang po na yun, paano, di ba?”

Ubusan ng boses at lakas ang repertoire ng Ember concert.
“I’ve been running the whole show every once in a while. And everytime I’m like… grabe! First 30 minutes pa lang ito! Sige, laban!” sambit ni Morissette.
“Pero who’s there to blame? Myself. Kasi ako yung gumawa ng set list. Pero gusto natin ito. So, go, laban!”
Anong klaseng Morissette ang matutunghayan sa 15th anniversary concert sa Oktubre 28?
“The Morissette that has been through fire, has been through so many obstacles and a lot of risks that I personally wanted to take,” tugon ng 29-anyos na Asia’s Phoenix.
“And decided to take. I think the Morisette that everyone’s gonna see is the Morissete who is just ahhmm still full of so much passion and love for her craft.
“But at the same time is constantly wanting to reinvent herself and take risks. Like, sobrang risk-taker talaga ang Morissette po na makikita nila sa concert po na ito this month.”
Front act sa Ember concert ang indie-folk favorites na The Ridleys. Ang musical director ay si Troy Laureta.

Anong awit ang maiaalay niya ngayon para sa mga Pilipino, lalo na sa kanyang mga kapwa Cebuano?
“There are many songs po. One of the songs that I feel na I could dedicate sa lahat, I mean, of course, there was the eathquake that happened in my hometown in Cebu,” tugon ni Morissette.
“But also I don’t want to be blind about everything that’s going on in our country. Nakakapanghinayang na po talaga.
“And so I think my song for everybody would be… this is an original by Andra Day, it’s called 'Rise Up.'
“And I really love that song for what it stands talaga na… and rising up doesn’t have to be being ano, di ba, super-aggressive. Sometimes you just need to be strong…
“Yung lyrics niya, I feel like kahit hindi man po kayo always sure… I wanna dedicate that song to our nation, to everybody, to of course po mga kababayan ko po sa Cebu and everyone affected sa earthquake.”
