First full-length film niya ang Some Nights I Feel Like Walking, kung saan co-stars niya sina Jomari Angeles, Argel Saycon, Tommy Alejandrino, at Gold Aceron.

“And then I did a bunch of Zoom online auditions. And then umabot siya sa, like, live auditions, na there maybe 50 boys left.
“And they actually had me audition for the other parts muna. And I ended up getting Zion.”
Kumusta nang first time niyang mapanood ang movie sa Tallinn filmfest sa Estonia?
“It was hard because you have expectations for yourself, and then yung nakikita mo sa screen is like not exactly how you intended,” pagsisiwalat ni Miguel.
“But I think watching it in the Philippines, for maybe this is the fourth time, sobrang ganda siyang tingnan.
“I really enjoyed it this time.”
And Petersen had to really hold my hand for me to really understand that scene.”
Kumustang katrabaho si Jomari?
Napangiti si Miguel, “Jom is very, very… he’s the best screen partner. I learned almost everything from him about where to find my cameras and my lights.
“Kasi those kinds of things are technical sides of being an actor. I had no idea when I was coming in.
“So he helped me really to internalize my character. Jom and I are actually roomed together when we’re filming this.
“So lagi kaming nagbabatuhan ng lines. Lagi kaming nagde-develop nung onscreen dynamics namin.”
“Why not both?! Ha-ha-ha-ha!”

Some Nights I Feel Like Walking?
Ha-ha-ha!
“I think in general, people have been very kind and nice. But, yeah, I’m just happy to have the opportunity to even do this.”
Ilang take yung kissing scene nila ni Jomari?
“Ilang take yung mismong kissing part? Hindi ko na mabilang, e. I don’t know, I don’t remember,” sey ni Miguel.
“I actually don’t remember. Kasi, we had rehearsals of the scene. Kasi ano iyon, e. Actually, it looks really comfortable pero those are rocks.
“So, like, pag-uwi namin ni Jom, pasang-pasa kami sa likod and everything. Gulung-gulong kami doon sa talahiban.
“So I don’t remember how many takes. I don’t think it was a lot of takes, but there were a lot of rehearsals.”
Sold out ang three screenings ng Some Nights I Feel Like Walking sa unang RainbowQC Pride Film Festival ng QCinema.

Nasa cast din ng pelikula sina Jess Mendoza, Lex Bonife, Moira Lang, Vic Robinson, Andre Miguel, Dennis Marasigan, at Paolo O’Hara.

Madali ba niyang naitawid yung karakter niyang si Zion sa Some Nights I Feel Like Walking?
“Yeah, yeah. I think, ahhmm... I think it just comes to, like, internalizing your character,” sambit ni Miguel.
“And understanding how important this connection between Zion and Uno [karakter ni Jomari Angeles] is.
“I think Jom also really did a good job. Yeah, and it has little to do with sexuality.”
Paano siya naka-relate kay Zion? Yung may mga itinatago o kinikimkim, may misteryo.
“When I was watching… kaya mahirap siya for me to watch the first time, it’s because Zion actually was reminding me a lot of my younger self,” pagtatapat ni Gue (palayaw ni Miguel).
“So, si Zion is this very, very introverted character. That’s the way I was, like, for a large, large part of my life, until I got to be comfortable with myself more.
“I’m also, like… I’m also somebody who suffered from physical abuse. So, I kinda, like, drew from a lot of those experiences to kinda form Zion’s mannerisms, his physicality.
“Because Zion is an orphaned child. He’s been abused…”
Close sa kanya yung umabuso sa kanya?
“Somebody close to me but not my family,” paglilinaw ni Gue.
