Nairaos ni Gary Valenciano ang pangalawang gabi ng kanyang concert na Gary V Pure Energy: One More Time na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum noong Linggo, December 22, 2024.
Na-confine siya sa hospital dahil sa severe dehydration, kaya hindi niya natapos ang unang gabi ng concert noong Biyernes, December 20.

Pagkalabas niya ng hospital, in-announce sa Facebook noong umaga ng Linggo na tuloy ang kanyang concert kinagabihan.

GARY V: THE SHOW MUS GO ON
Eksaktong 8:42 ng gabi nagsimula ang second night ng concert ni Gary, at awa ng Diyos ay natapos niya ang concert ng pasado alas-onse ng gabi.
Pero tumitigil-tigil si Gary. Kaagad siyang napapagod ay hinihingal kaya binawasan na niya pagsasayaw.
Nagtse-check siya ng sugar level niya kung okay pa.
Madalas din ang pag-inom niya ng tubig at nagti-take ng yelo para hindi tumuyo ang bibig at lalamunan.
“So, pag tumigil po ako at pumupunta ako dito sa tabi, I just have to get some ice chips, kasi it was such a severe dehydration that my mouth becomes dry.
"So, quickly… ayoko naman kumanta na tipong kakantahin ko ngayon," sabi ni Gary na nag-mumble na hindi mo na maintindihan ang lumalabas sa bibig niya].
"Kasi that’s what happens when your mouth… look, if there are any aspiring singers here, please make sure you never come out on stage with the dry mouth, okay?
“Seriously. It does not only affect your singing, but affects your talking as well. Cause you’re talking can end up like [nag-mumble uli]”
Parang may band-aid na nakabalot sa kaliwang braso ni Gary. Para raw sa IV na puwedeng ikabit sa kanya anytime kung patuloy pa rin ang severe dehydration.
Bago in-announce na tuloy ang concert, naaalangan pa si Gary dahil sa tingin niya ay hindi pa nito kaya.
“Alam mo, hindi na namin sinundan yung original na concert, e, yung lineup. Hindi naman yung tipong bahala na, but we changed it a bit. Simply because it was a challenge kasi, e.
“The deadline this morning was 9 A.M., kung itutuloy ko ang concert na ito kung hindi. But then at 8:15, ang sabi ko pa nga sa misis ko…
"Angeli came up to me and said, ‘You’re gonna be great, Gary.’ I looked at her and I said, ‘I cannot do this concert. I cannot.’
“But, the kind of wife that she is. She was persistent, and she believed that I could not to do it, but God could,” lahad ng singer.

Paulit-ulit na nagpapasalamat si Gary V sa Panginoong Diyos, na pinaghuhugutan niya ng lakas para matapos ang concert.
Pero inamin din niyang may mga binago sila sa repertoire, at hindi na siya gaanong humataw ng sayaw para makayanan niyang tapusin ang concert.
Saad ni Gary: “I’m not running on empty. I’m running on the fumes of God. So, I don’t wanna cut this show short.
"Bear with me. Bear with me, because what I’m going to do is not out of my own strength.
“Sa totoo lang, meron pa isang medley na hindi na namin ginawa, e, mga theme song medley.
“Kasi honestly… I’ll just be honest with you. Hindi ko na rin kaya kasi.
"Not because of my age, ha? It’s just that, I’m still recovering from everything that happened in the past few days.”

GARY THANKS SON PAOLO
Hindi rin binigo ni Gary ang mga manonood nang mag-"more" ang lahat.
Pinagbigyan niya ang mga ito.
Mahaba rin ang encore niya kung saan doon na rin pinasalamatan ni Gary ang kanyang panganay na anak na si Paolo Valenciano, na nagdirek ng concert.
“Aakyat sana ako dun o, tapos iikot sana ako ng ganun o!” sabi ni Gary habang itinuturo ang bandang itaas ng coliseum.
“Nakakatakot lang kasi baka pag-abot ko diyan, hindi na ako makakaikot nang ganun. Pag umabot ako dun, wala na. Iisang kamay na lang ang natira sa akin. But I was really going to do that.
“But you know, all of these had to be put together by a whole team of people. But there was only one director. And… he’s the best in the country today, folks.
“If you’ve seen Sarah G’s concert, that’s him. If you’ve seen the Ben and Ben concert, that’s him. Concert ni Juan Karlos, that’s him. Concert ng Eheads, siya rin yun.
"Ang dami pa. Hindi ko lang maalala lahat.”
Mensahe pa ni Gary sa kanyang anak, “Paolo, to say that I am proud of you is too much of understatement, son.
“I love you so dearly, son. You are such an example to your brother and your sister. And your children, have a good mom and dad, taking care of them.
"I love you so much.”

Ako, I’ve seen the concert at the MOA Arena. I bought my ticket and it was well worth it!
Gary V is worth our support really.
But with his condition at sa mga pinagdaanan niya na nasa social media lahat, I would have understood if they postponed or cancelled the second repeat night.
Did they really have to subject GV to that again given that situation? Di ba, parang may sinasabi rin sa atin ang Diyos kaya?
Oh well, things happen for a reason. Basta, I hope GV is well and ok.
