CINEGANG MEETING WITH FIRST LADY
Sa mediacon ng MMFF 2024 entry ng Regal na My Future You starring Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, inusisa ko si Roselle sa nasabing miting ng CineGang with the First Lady.
“It’s all about her support sa local movie industry,” sabi ni Ms. Roselle nitong Nobyembre 27, Miyerkules, sa Valencia Events Place, Quezon City.
“So ito, parang nagtayo na siya talaga ng non-stock, non-profit company to give support to the local industry.
“So, may mga in-invite din siya na mga investor to be part of it. Local industry talaga ang focus, local cinema.”
Dumalo si First Lady LAM sa launch ng 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) noong Hulyo 16 sa Bulwagang Villegas ng Manila City Hall.
Bilang suporta sa golden edition ng MMFF, gaganapin ang "Konsyento sa Palasyo" para sa Pelikulang Pilipino sa Disyembre 15, Linggo, sa Malacañang.
Katuwang ang Regal sa mga proyekto ni First Lady para sa industriya ng pelikulang Pinoy.
“It’s for the industry naman siya talaga. The real cause is for the industry,” sambit ni Ms. Roselle.
“It’s good that there is… napapansin siya talaga ng administration.”
Sa mga miting nila before with the First Lady, napag-usapan ba ng attendees ang magkakaibang affiliation o pananaw sa pulitika?
“Every time we meet, we don’t talk about it, e… Never talaga, never napag-usapan ang politics,” saad ni Ms. Roselle.
“Kasi naka-focus lang talaga sa progress ng industry.”
Ang MMFF 2024 Parade of Stars ay sa Disyembre 21, Sabado, gaganapin, with Manila as host city.

Pagtuntong ng Disyembre, lubos na mararamdam ang presence ng 50th MMFF.
Ngayong naglabasan na ang final poster designs ng mga pelikula, inihahanda na ang mga tarpaulin sa mga kalye ng Kamaynilaan.
Halos lahat ng mga produksiyon ay magmi-mediacon na, at hindi lang basta-basta presscon. May kani-kanya pang mga pasabog at pag-aabala.
Si Ryan Agoncillo ang magho-host ng mediacon ng The Kingdom nina Bossing Vic at Piolo Pascual this Friday, November 2029.

Ngayong Nobyembre 28, Huwebes, ay ini-announce na ng FDCP sa Facebook ang 10 student films na kabahagi sa 50th MMFF.
FB post ng FDCP: “CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TOP 10 STUDENT SHORT FILM FINALISTS! The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) are thrilled to announce the selected finalists for the 2024 MMFF x FDCP Student Short Film Competition.
“These ten (10) outstanding films will take the spotlight as they premiere alongside the full-length MMFF entries , showcasing the brilliance of the next generation of Filipino filmmakers. Each finalist will also receive a cash incentive of twenty-thousand pesos (PHP 20,000.00).
