Ang suwerte ng actor/politician na si Cong. Arjo Atayde na first time lang niya na-nominate sa ContentAsia Awards sa Taipei, nagwagi agad siya bilang Best Male Lead in a TV Program/Series.
Napanalunan niya ito sa kanyang pagganap bilang si Anton dela Rosa sa serye niyang Cattleya Killer na nag-stream sa Prime Video noong nakaraang taon.
Sa gitna ng napakarami niyang ginagawa bilang public servant, nagagawa pa rin niya ang mga magagandang film projects na gusto niya talagang gawin.
ARJO, EXCITED SA FORTHCOMING FILM PROJECTS
Sabi ni Cong. Arjo, naka-schedule na raw ang cinema release ng pelikula niyang Topakk (Triggered) ngayong taon. Kasama niya rito sina Julia Montes at Sid Lucero, sa direksyon ni Richard Somes.
Ngayong taon din daw ang streaming ng The Bagman na pinagsamahan nila nina Judy Ann Santos at John Arcilla, at dinirek pa rin ni Shugo Praico.
Collaboration ito ng Nathan Studios nina Arjo sa ABS-CBN Studios, Dreamscape at Rein Entertainment.
Meron pa siyang natapos na isang pelikula, ang Moonglow with Direk Isabel Sandoval. Pero next year pa raw ito mapapalabas, depende sa desisyon daw ni Direk Sandoval.
“For this year po kasi, all the plans are already done. Plans, meaning the projects that I’ve committed to ABS as well as part of my responsibility at hanapbuhay.
“Sabi ko po, of course, I had to finish what I had to finish and I did it during the breaks of Congress. Minsan po nao-overlap but rest assured that these are my priority,” pakli ni Cong. Arjo sa pa-thanksgiving party niya na ginanap sa kanyang headquarters sa Quezon City noong Biyernes, September 13.
Pagdating sa kanyang political career, tuloy pa rin ang pagtakbo niya bilang Congressman ng District 1 ng Quezon City.
ARJO QUASHES RUMORS ABOUT MOM SYLVIA REPLACING HIM AS QC REPRESENTATIVE
Natawa siya sa nakakarating sa aming balitang titigil daw muna siya sa pulitika, at ang mommy niyang si Sylvia Sanchez daw muna ang tatakbo.
“No, it’s not true. My mom is not replacing me,” bulalas ng actor/politician.
“I have much to do. We have been working very hard with the district, no? And as a promise and responsibility and commitment to the people, for this month actually… from last month pa, matatapos ko na my commitments.
“I was able to keep myself free until after elections as well. So, I can focus of course with the district. Tuloy po. Hindi po si Mommy, ako po,” dagdag ni Arjo.

JERRY OLEA:
Matagumpay ang kanyang pagiging aktor at public servant. Nagpapasalamat si Cong. Arjo Atayde na nandiyan ang asawa niyang si Maine Mendoza na napaglalaanan pa rin daw niya ng panahon.
“Of course po, during my free times and my free days kapag may bakasyon… kaya nga po we travel, nakikita po ng tao. Because that’s the only times talaga na we get to spend time together to be honest,” lahad ni Arjo.
“Kasi kapag nandito po sa Manila, of course meron din siyang responsibility, she also has commitments to attend to, and also me as well. I juggle out all these things.
“But rest assured, it’s just time management, proper time management, and we’re both very happy. Pangunahan ko na lang po kayo, and yeah, it’s just really time management po. And she’s always my priority at the end of the day as well,” napangiting pahayag ni Arjo.
Pagdating sa planong magka-baby ay sa kanila na lang daw muna iyun. Napapag-usapan na raw, pero kung puwede ay hindi muna nila ito i-share.
“Ahhh secret na lang po. Of course we talked about it, but that’s between us na lang muna. For now, we’re really enjoying each other’s time.
“Kasi hindi naman po ito mauulit na kaming dalawa na lang po, di ba, together and for long time. So, we’re just enjoying po and yun po secret na lang po kung kailan. That’s between us na lang po. But definitely we talked about it po,” sabi pa ni Arjo.

Naunahan na si Cong. Arjo ng kapatid niyang si Ria Atayde na malapit nang manganak. Masaya raw siya siyempre para sa kapatid niya at kay Zanjoe Marudo.
ARJO, EXCITED MA-MEET ANG FIRST PAMANGKIN
Excited na raw siyang maging tito, at magkakaroon na ng first pamangkin ang pamilya Atayde.
“I’m very happy for my sister and Zanjoe. Very very happy,” pakli niya.
“Masaya! This is the first of the fourth generation. Kasi kami ni Ria and magpipinsan and our first cousin sa Atayde side, we have no pamangkins yet. So, ahhh ito yung pinakauna.
“Of course, and I’m very much excited. Hindi ko na ma-explain, we’re just waiting and of course all out support to Ria and Z. Hindi ko na muna kung ano ang sasabihin ko… this is their story to tell sorry.
“But ayun po, I’m just very excited, super. Super, all out support to them and much love to Zanjoe as well,” masayang sambit ni Cong. Arjo.
