Deia Tala sana ang pangalan ng three-month-old daughter nina Iza Calzado at Ben Wintle, sa halip na Deia Amihan.

“Deia is actually a place in Mallorca,” lahad ni Iza sa edamama New Mama Expo 2023 noong Abril 14, Biyernes, sa Megatrade Hall 2 ng SM Megamall.
“And we were there before I announced, and basta nag-post ako sa Instagram na parang sabi ko, ‘Deia, you are so stunning.’ Yung place.
“And then a friend of mine made a comment, ‘Oh you know, if I had a baby girl, I always wanted to name her Deia,’ which made me look up what it meant.
“And it stems from a Latin or Greek term that means goddess or joy. And that resonated with me so I… because of course she was already bringing me so much joy at that moment.
“And I was like, ‘Be a goddess.’ Everyone’s a goddess or a god, like in their own right. Like we all have that in us.
“Ahhmm and so I picked that, and it was hard for me to pick a second, so I had a couple of choices.
“And before pa, sabi ko, ‘Oh maybe Tala,’ because the very first name that I wanted for my child is something close to me, like meaningful.
“So, Tala was the first role na ginampanan ko as a baby. As in Ora Engkantada levels, Channel 13. O, hindi na alam ng mga kabataan yan! And Janice de Belen was my mom, and my name was Tala.
“But sabi ko, yung Deia Tala, parang bitin. Ahhmm and, of course, Amihan is a very special name for me.
“Character that I played in Encantadia. And I feel that… that role really is such a gift for me. And Amihan the character is a good leader.
“She was very empowered. She made a lot of sacrifices, some of which I don’t think I’ll be able to do in my own life.
“And my child and I, we were like… I feel like we’ve battled a lot already. So I always felt she was a warrior. So I wanted something really strong for a second name.
“And then to tie it back pa from a personal experience, when I was sick with COVID, I got a lot of comments like, ‘Kaya mong labanan yan kasi ikaw si Amihan.’
“And to be specific, when I thought I was gonna be brought to the ICU, there was one nurse who was about to take my blood test, and then I asked that nurse, I said, ‘Mamamatay na ba ako?’
“And then sabi niya, ‘Hindi ka mamamatay. Lalaban ka kasi ikaw si Sang’gre Amihan!’
“And so for me, God blessed me with this life and so, another life which is my child, so I’m you know passing on that good energy to her.
“And hopefully she always remembers me as her producer, yon. And she was born during amihan season by the way!”

Kahit nag-Amihan na rin si Kylie Padilla, si Iza pa rin talaga ang maaalala mo sa karakter na Amihan.
Mas bumagay naman ang Deia Amihan, at maaring gustung-gusto rin ito ng pamilya ni Ben Wintle sa United Kingdom.
Siyanga pala, sisimulan na rin daw ang panibagong fantaserye ng GMA 7 na Sang’gre. Sino naman kaya ang gaganap bilang si Amihan?

Si Amihan at ang Sang'gre ba ulit?
Okey naman ang third chapter ng Encantadia. Pero marami pang magagandang Filipino deity or goddess na puwedeng gawan ng palabas. Nariyan ang Diwata, Lumawig at Kabunian. Puwede rin si Maria Makiling naman.
Excited ako kung ano ang susunod na magaganap kay Iza at kay Amihan. The possibilities are endless.
For now, i-enjoy muna natin ang magagandang mga baby na nagbabalik sa atin sa ating pagkawalang muwang at kadalisayan, tulad mo na lang na mayumi, di ba, Tito Jerry?
