Mahaba at puno ng pag-aalala ang Facebook post ng physiotherapist na si Kent Juan Resquir tungkol sa ex niyang si Norman Balbuena, a.k.a. Boobay, nitong Abril 21, 2023.
Ito ay matapos masaksihan sa national TV noong April 20 ang silent o mild seizure ni Boobay habang ini-interview ni Boy Abunda.
Sa kuwento ni Kurt, nasaksihan na rin daw niya ito.
Naka-tag si Boobay kaya makikita rin ang post sa kanyang feed.
Ani Kent (published as is), “Boobay and I were ecstatic to finally arrive in El Nido, Palawan after days of planning a holiday. We were eager to explore the island's pristine beaches and lush jungles.
"However, as we settled into our hotel, I noticed something strange happening to him.
"At first, I thought he was just daydreaming or lost in thought, but as the days went on, I noticed it happening more frequently. Boobay would suddenly stop mid-sentence and stare blankly into space for a few seconds before snapping back to reality and trying to continue the conversation as if nothing had happened.
“I was concerned and asked him if he was feeling okay, but he brushed it off and said he was just tired from working.
"However, the episodes persisted throughout our trip, and I couldn't help but worry. I was trying to give him calming massage to his hands and deep breathing exercises.
"We still tried to continue enjoying our trip, albeit with some caution. Still, I did heaps of monitoring.
“I mentioned what happened to him and he has to seek his neurodoctor. He always say yes, but he was stubborn. He is still scared of going to hospital. I even contacted St. Luke’s to find a neurosurgeon.
“As we returned back to Manila from Palawan, I couldn't help but think this strange event will happen to him especially in television and it did really happen.
“Now, I couldn’t help as I am miles away but I always remind him to pay attention to his body and seek medical help when something doesn't feel right.
“Yes, we broke up but I still care for him. And yes, I am still his manager when it comes to his health because he is precious to me. I understand that he is going through a tough time, and I apologise and empathise with the pain that he is experiencing.
“While I want him to stay strong, I also encourage him to be kind to himself as he navigates through life's challenges. STAY STRONG!”

Nababahala ang close friends ni Boobay dahil sa kanyang kalusugan.
Ilang beses na raw siyang pinagsasabihang ingatan ang kalusugan at huwag piliting magtrabaho kung hindi na kaya ng katawan.
Bukod sa regular taping niya sa The Boobay and Tekla Show, may mga out-of-town performance pa siyang tinatanggap na madalas ay nalalagare niya sa regular niyang gig sa Klownz na comedy bar ni Allan K.
May insidente rin daw na hinimatay iyan sa isang gig niya sa Klownz, kaya pinagpahinga daw muna sa backstage.
Gusto na siyang pauwiin, pero tumanggi raw ito. Gusto niyang ituloy pa rin ang trabaho.
Nagpamasahe lang daw siya sandali tapos balik-salang na siya sa kanyang gig.
Kaya nang nangyari raw itong sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, isa raw sa nabahala nang husto ang bestfriend niyang si Marian Rivera.
Naikuwento sa aming tinatawagan daw ito ni Marian, pero hindi raw sinasagot ni Boobay dahil alam na raw niyang tiyak na pagagalitan siya at papagpahingahin muna sa trabaho.
Napag-alamang ilang linggo na rin daw na nagga-Grab daw muna si Boobay dahil natatakotsiyang mag-drive ng kotse niya at baka bigla lang daw itong magka-mild seizure uli habang nagmamaneho.

Itong recent na nangyari kay Boobay sa show ni Tito Boy Abunda ay isa na namang red flag.
Hindi puwedeng gawing rason ang trabaho. Walang magtatrabaho kung hindi aalagaan ang sarili mismo.
I can identify din with Boobay na takot pumunta ng hospital.
Pero huwag hintayin ang pagkakataong mapipilitan ka nang pumunta dahil sa iyong nararamdaman.
Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataong mangyari ito. May choice naman tayo at pagkakataon pang magbago at bumuti ang kalagayan.
