Limang oras na naghintay ang entertainment press na inimbita para sa press launch ni Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. bilang bagong ambassador ng AQ Prime Entertainment sa Okada Manila noong Huwebes, September 20, 2022.
Buong mapagkumbabang humingi ng paumanhin ang American boxing legend sa lahat na mga naghintay.
Puring-puri naman ng mga boss ng AQ Prime na sina Atty. Aldwin Alegre, Atty. Honey Quino, at ang creative consultant at business head na si RS Francisco si Floyd dahil napakadaling kausap at hindi raw sila nahirapan.

Pahayag ni RS, “He’s one of the easiest persons to talk to. Pag nakita mo sa social media, bad boy, maangas, ganyan, mayabang, antipatiko, presko.
“Pero pag na-meet mo talaga siya, parang tayo-tayo lang nag-uusap. Napakasimple.
"He will be our spokesperson. He will talk about the films of AQ."
Isa sa ibinahagi ni Mayweather sa media ay ang inihahanda niyang documentary series na posibleng ipalalabas sa AQ Prime.
Aniya, “Hopefully, we’re able to put my documentary on their platform. Everything that is behind the scenes, since 1996… twenty-six years ago, everything that’s behind the scenes with family, with friends, my ups, my downs, things that you guys don’t get the chance to see on cable or pay per view.
“On this documentary, this gonna bring you closer to my life. You may got the chance to really really know Floyd Mayweather.”
Wala pang ganoong naidetalye si Mayweather sa kanyang docu series, kaya sinundan namin ng tanong kung magkukuwento rin ba siya ng tungkol sa kanyang love life.
“Everything is not for everybody. I’d like to keep certain things private.
“On my documentary, you may see few little things, but most of my personal life I’d like to keep it, you know, behind the scenes,” diretso niyang sagot.
Bukas daw siya sa ideyang makipag-collab kay Manny Pacquiao para sa isang show na puwedeng mapanood sa AQ Prime, pero titingnan muna niya kung anong klaseng show ito.
Pero malaki ang posibilidad na gagawan ng AQ ng show si Mayweather para sa mga fans niya para sa naturang streaming app.
Pahayag ni Atty. Honey Quino, “That’s really a possibility. Maybe soon.
"We’re working with Floyd Mayyweather and perhaps we could make a documentary film for him. Not just only to entertain but also to inspire people, those who are aspiring to be a good boxer, they can watch it.”

Ilang beses na rin daw inalok si Mayweather na gumawa ng pelikula, pero tinanggihan niya.
“Everything isn’t for everybody. I can get the movies absolutely, but it takes up so much time,” aniya.
“Sometimes three months, sometimes four months, and I like to travel and I like, you know, work on my own schedule. That’s why I’m my own boss.
“That’s why I choose to back myself on my contracts, so I can be on I’m my own boss and move the way that I wanna move.
“So, I’m not against it, you know. I love to watch movies. I love to support movies. But me acting, ahhm, it will take so much of my time.”

Hindi rin masabi ni Mayweather sa ngayon kung sino ang gusto niyang gumanap bilang Mayweather sakaling isapelikula o gawing series ang kuwento ng kanyang buhay.
“I can’t really say who’s gonna play me in a documentary series. I can’t really say. But you know, I can’t believe that, basically… well, years from now, I’m gonna have a movie.
“I never thought that as a kid coming up, you know, I just want to box and I wasn’t for the money, I just want to have fun and just box and continue to travel with my team,” sabi pa ni Floyd.
