Comedian Jo Koy announced that his all-new Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour will include a stop at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on June 21, 2025.

Here are things you need to know about ticket sales:

  • Ticket prices with range from PHP1,500 to PHP7,500.
  • Mastercard cardholders have special access to presale tickets in the Philippines starting today, March 12, at 12 p.m., until March 13, at 2 p.m.
  • Live Nation PH members can secure tickets during the Live Nation Presale on March 13, from 2 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. For more information, visit livenation.ph.
  • Tickets will go on sale this March 14 via SM Tickets.
  • Preferred ticket access is available to World & World Elite Mastercard cardholders in the Philippines on March 14, 12 p.m.

With his show about to kick off this month, Jo Koy excitedly said, “I never take for granted that I get to live out my dream on the stage every week and this new tour is something special that I can’t what to share with everyone."

JO KOY'S SOLD-OUT SHOWS

As one of today’s premiere stand-up comedians, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house.

Jo Koy’s uniquely relatable comedy draws inspiration from his colorful family, and has captivated audiences worldwide, selling out arenas across the globe."

In 2022, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour with a sold-out show at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, where over 14,000 tickets were bought. He ended the tour on a high note with another sell-out at the Tacoma Dome, filling over 19,000 seats.

Today, he continues breaking sales records at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Mall of Asia Arena (Manila, PH), The Forum (Los Angeles), Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai), ICC Theatre (Sydney, AU), Madison Square Garden (New York City), and American Airlines Arena (Dallas), among others.

In 2017, Koy set a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu—selling 23,000 tickets across 11 sold-out shows. In recognition of this achievement, Honolulu’s mayor officially declared November 24th as Jo Koy Day.

JO KOY'S acting and dubbing CAREER

Koy made his big-screen debut in Universal Pictures’ Easter Sunday (2022), a comedy based on his life, centered around a family gathering to celebrate Easter.

He later appeared in Disney’s Haunted Mansion (2023) and voiced characters in Netflix’s animated films The Monkey King and Leo.

Most recently, in 2024, he voiced the Monkey King in the Paramount+ film The Tiger’s Apprentice.

In 2023, Koy signed a two-special deal with Netflix.

The first special, filmed in November at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, was released in summer 2024.

Before this, he released four highly acclaimed Netflix specials, including Live From The Los Angeles Forum (2022) and Comin’ In Hot (2019).

Overall, Koy has had six successful stand-up specials across Comedy Central and Netflix.

OTHER PROJECTS

In June 2020, he released Jo Koy: In His Elements, a variety special on Netflix that brought comedy, music, and Filipino culture to the forefront.

The show featured Filipino-American comedians, DJs, and B-boys, celebrating Koy’s heritage in a one-of-a-kind performance filmed in Manila.

Koy also ventured into writing, releasing his first autobiography, Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo, in 2021.

The memoir, published by HarperCollins, earned critical praise for its humor and heartfelt storytelling, detailing Koy’s struggles and triumphs in the entertainment industry.

In 2019, his stand-up album Live From Seattle topped the Billboard Comedy Charts, and in 2018, he was honored with the prestigious Stand-Up Comedian of the Year award at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada.
