Cebu Pacific now offers direct flights to Sapporo, Japan

Shorter travel time, lower airfare

Tatlong beses isang linggo ang direct flight ng Cebu Pacific papuntang Sapporo, Japan. Bukod sa umikli ng limang oras ang biyahe dahil sa direct flight, makatitipid din ang pasahero ng 63 percent sa airfare. (Photo: Cebu Pacific)

Bumiyahe sa unang pagkakataon ang isang eroplano ng Cebu Pacific (CEB) patungong Sapporo, Japan, noong January 16, 2025.

Ang maiden flight ang nagbigay ng distinction sa CEB bilang kauna-unahang airline company na may direct flight patungo sa naturang siyudad, at pinakamalaking local carrier na nagkokonekta sa Pilipinas at Japan.

Ang mga biyahe patungong Sapporo ay nakatakda tuwing Martes, Huwebes, at Sabado.

Batay sa thrice a week schedules, mula sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport, aalis ang CEB flight tuwing 11:15 a.m.

Darating ito sa New Chitose International Airport bandang 5:25 p.m.

Mula naman sa Sapporo, lilipad ang CEB flight ng 6:25 p.m.

Darating ito sa Manila bandang 11:20 p.m.

CEB DIRECT FLIGHT TO SAPPORO SHORTENS TRAVEL TIME

Dahil sa nonstop service ng CEB papuntang Sapporo, umikli ang biyahe ng limang oras.

Makatitipid din ang mga pasahero ng hanggang 63 percent sa airfare.

Ayon kay CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao, ang Sapporo ay isang hiyas sa tourism landscape ng Japan.

Kilala ang lungsod sa winter magic nito, naggagandahang natural parks, at mayamang kultura.

JAPAN AMBASSADOR INVITES FILIPINOS TO VISIT HIS COUNTRY

Dumalo sa ginanap na maiden flight ceremony si Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines Endo Kazuya.

Hinikayat nito ang mga Filipino na bumisita sa Japan.

"The Japanese government is actively working with the Philippine Department of Tourism to promote tourism and foster deeper cultural exchanges between our two countries," ani Endo.

Bukod sa winter activities, ang Sapporo ay sikat dahil sa pagdaraos nito ng Sapporo Snow Festival.

Samantala, may mga biyahe rin ang CEB patungo sa ibang airports ng Japan, partikula sa Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, Nagoya, at Fukuoka.
