On the UP Fine Arts Gallery Instagram account, the exhibit aims to show “how art can be both a window into other worlds and a powerful spark for change, capable of crafting a better future.”

Example is the 5.5 ft. X 2 ft. artwork of Bong Banal called Kakampink, which is full of “packaging tape on cardboard.”
Description of the art goes: “Tape-painted standee featuring celebrity who was perceived by many as an enabler of historical revisionism.
“The original color of her blouse top for this ad is ironically the campaign color of Leni Robredo, the main political rival of Bongbong Marcos in the 2022 presidential elections.”
Furthermore, it says, “’Kakampink’ is a word that was used to label Filipinos who supported the candidacy of Leni Robredo.
“The labeling of ‘Kakampink’ of this celebrity is an alteration of reality. A means to reverse this celebrity’s political affiliation.”
