Following the success of last year’s Watsons Playlist event, a second edition is soon coming as announced by the health and beauty retailer.
It will take place on August 18, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
In time for the celebration of Buwan ng Wika, the event aims to strengthen P-Pop by bringing together popular P-Pop acts for a night of amazing performances.
WATSONS PLAYLIST 2024: THE LINE-UP
This year’s line-up is headlined by none other than the Kings of P-Pop, SB19.
At a press conference held in July, the group expressed its enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its significance as a platform where P-Pop groups can perform their songs.
SB19’s Josh said, "Masaya po kami kasi noong nagsisimula pa lang ang P-Pop, hindi pa nagkakaroon ng mga ganito kalaking events.
"Ngayon, mayroon nang tulad ng Watsons Playlist na willing magbigay sa amin ng ganitong klaseng plataporma para ipamalas ang mga talents naming mga P-Pop artists.”
Remarked Justin from SB19, “Ngayon for P-Pop na talaga ang concert ng Watsons Playlist, nabibigyang pansin na ang mga P-Pop groups ngayon.”
Ken agreed and added, "Ang ganitong platform ay sobrang laki ng tulong sa P-Pop community para mas makilala pa globally."
The concert line-up includes ALAMAT, a six-member boy group known for their chart-toppers such as “Day & Night,” “Dayang,” “Say U Love Me,” “ABKD,” and “Maharani.”
The South Korea-based Filipino boy band HORI7ON will also be performing, and is expected to delight the audience with songs like "Lucky," "Six7een," and "Lovey Dovey."
In addition, the energetic trio G22 will perform “Takin' Over,” “Bang,” “Babalik,” “One Sided Love,” and “I Hate Boys.”
Adding to the girl power on stage, KAIA will also grace the stage and are expected to perform their original songs including "5678," "You Did It," and "Blah Blah."
HOW TO GET TICKETS
This exclusive event is open only to Watsons Club members, and tickets can be acquired by purchasing products.
Here are the four straightforward steps to secure your tickets.
STEP 1: Join the club. Download the mobile app or visit the online shop and register for free.
STEP 2: Make a Purchase: Buy products via Standard Delivery from the app or website. Ensure your total purchase (excluding delivery fees) meets the minimum purchase requirement (MPR) to qualify for the free concert ticket, which will be added automatically at checkout. Make sure the GWP promo is included before finalizing your order.
Minimum Purchase Requirement:
- VIP Standing - PHP5,500
- Patron - PHP5,000
- Lowerbox - PHP4,500
- Upper Box - PHP3,500
- General Admission - PHP2,000
STEP 3: Receive Your Unique Redemption Code (URC): Club members will get their Unique Redemption Code (URC) via their registered email within two to three business days after payment completion.
STEP 4: Redeem Your Physical Ticket: Present your URC email and one valid government-issued ID at any SM Ticket outlet to get your physical ticket. Check the list of SM Ticket outlets here. You can choose your preferred seat based on availability. An SM Ticketing charge of ?60.00 per ticket applies upon redemption.
For VIP Standing Tickets: A queuing link will be released one week before the event. Queuing numbers depend on when you redeemed your physical ticket.
TICKET PERKS
Aside from concert access, ticket holders also enjoy various perks depending on their tier.
These perks include exclusive soundcheck access, entry into a raffle for a meet and greet and photo op session, a chance to win a signed poster through another raffle, and a random artist photo card.
The VIP, of course, gets to enjoy all perks, while every ticket holder brings home a photo card.
