What Valentine's Day gift do Filipinos want to receive? Money gets 16 percent while love and companionship comes second at 11 percent, according to Social Weather Stations survey.

Mas matimbang sa mga Pilipino ang pera kesa sa pagmamahal.

Ito ang resulta sa isinagawang recent national survey ng Social Weather Stations (SWS) na inilabas ilang araw bago ang Araw ng mga Puso.

Ang tanong: ano ang regalong gusto mong matanggap mula sa mahal sa buhay sa darating na Valentine’s Day?

Nanguna ang pera, na nakakuha ng 16 percent..

Sinundan ito ng love and companionship na may 11 percent.

Pumangatlo ang bulaklak with 10 percent.

Nasa pang-apat na puwesto ang damit with 9 percent.

Ang resulta ng SWS survey ay inilabas nitong Linggo, February 11, 2024, at ang survey ay isinagawa mula December 8-11, 2023.

Tie sa fifth place (with five percent) ang anumang regalo na galing sa puso, ang mobile phone, watch and jewelry, at magandang pagsasama ng pamilya.

Nag-tie rin sa ikaanim na puwesto ang pagkain at grocery items at chocolate with three percent.

Ang survey ay may 1,200 participants—tig-300 participants mula sa Metro Manila, Luzon (labas ng Metro Manila), Visayas, at Mindanao.

Lumalabas din na mas maraming kababaihan (19 percent) ang prefered ang pera kesa sa mga lalaki (12 percent).

Batay sa survey, mas maraming lalaki (14 percent) ang gustong makatanggap ng regalong damit habang five percent lamang mula sa mga babae.

Mataas din ang percentage ng mga married couple na nagsabing very happy sila sa kanilang love life.

Seventy-six percent sa mga lalaki ang nagsabing “very happy” sila, habang 67 percent ng mga babae ang may ganito ring sagot.

Ang 23 percent sa respondents ay sumagot ng “could be happier” sa kanilang love life, at 19 percent naman ay walang love life.
