Dismayado ang Filipino community sa Calgary, Canada, dahil sa hindi pagsipot ni Filipino-American rapper singer Ez Mil sa Calgary Fiesta Filipino na ginanap noong Agosto 30, 2025.
Kasama sina Ruru Madrid, Kyline Alcantara, at Ai-Ai delas Alas, kabilang si Ez Mil sa mga inimbitahan para magtanghal sa Calgary Fiesta Filipino.

Pero noong Agosto 29, naglabas ng pahayag ang FFP Records & Management na hindi sisipot si Ez Mil.
Ang FFP Records & Management ang namamahala sa career ni Ez Mil.
Nakasaad sa kanilang pahayag: “We regret to inform everyone that EZ MIL will not be performing at Calgary Fiesta Filipino 2025 as previously scheduled. Unfortunately, due to the event producer’s inability to meet the agreed terms, our artist’s participation will not be possible.
“EZ MIL and his team deeply appreciate the continued love and support from the community, and we look forward to connecting with fans at future events under better circumstances. Thank you for understanding.”

EZ MIL'S CAMP ISSUES STATEMENT
Noong Agosto 30, muling nagbigay ng pahayag ang FFP Records & Management tungkol sa desisyon nilang huwag pasiputin si Ez Mil sa Calgary Fiesta Filipino 2025.
“To everyone asking why we missed the Calgary Fiesta Filipino 2025—here’s the truth: we received no payment, no logistic coordination [hotel/pick-up details/event contact etc.] and even got sent fraudulent receipt.
“After flying nonstop the past 2 weeks, we cut our trip short just to try and make it to the said festival. Instead of receiving proper arrangements, we were given the runaround in hopes we would travel without assurance. This is unacceptable.
“We will not tolerate fake news or attempts to damage our reputation. Our team did everything possible to make this appearance happen, but professionalism and respect must be mutual.
“That said, we are deeply thankful for the overwhelming support from co-artists, producers, and the community who share the same sentiments and values.”
Sa update ng FFP Records & Management, sinabi nila, “For complete transparency, our team communicated only with one of the event producers, SJ Productions. If there’s any lapse or disconnect, it lies between SJ Productions and Fiesta Filipino.
“Our team doesn’t appreciate 'side comment' and false 'excuses.'”
U.S.-based si Ez Mil pero bumalik siya sa Pilipinas noong Agosto 27 dahil special guest siya sa concert ng Black Eyed Peas sa Mall of Asia Arena.
Nakikipag-ugnayan na ang Cabinet Files sa producers ng Calgary Fiesta Filipino para sa panig nila tungkol sa mabigat na paratang laban sa kanila ng kampo ni Ez Mil.
Napag-alaman ng Cabinet Files na ang former Rivermaya frontman na si Jason Fernandez ang ipinalit kay Ez Mil dahil sa hindi nito pagdalo sa pagtitipon ng mga Pilipino sa Calgary, Canada.
