Hindi lamang isa sa mga bida ng Wild Boys si Carlos Morales dahil siya rin ang direktor ng pelikulang nagbukas sa mga sinehan noong Miyerkules, Agosto 13, 2025.
Nagkaroon ng kontrobersiya ang movie directorial debut ni Carlos dahil sa paratang na hindi tumulong sa promotion, hindi sumipot sa premiere night at press conference ang mga bida ng Wild Boys—ang magkapatid na Aljur at Vin Abrenica.

Kahit U.S.-based si Carlos at naghihintay sa pagsisilang ng kanyang karelasyong si Felicia Fong sa panganay nilang anak, nakatutok siya sa promo activities para sa Wild Boys.
Regular daw ang komunikasyon niya sa mga tauhan ng Bright Ideas Productions, ang producer ng pelikula.
CARLOS MORALES ON ABRENICA BROTHERS ISSUE
Alam daw ni Carlos ang lahat ng mga nangyayari at ang mga problema ng production staff kaya ikinalulungkot niya ang isyu tungkol sa Abrenica brothers.
Pahayag niya sa Cabinet Files: “Medyo nakakalungkot lang because as fellow actors, we should be supporting one another—regardless of whether the production is big or small—especially to help with promotions.
“On our end, we’ve fulfilled all our obligations as the production team.
“Work-wise, it’s understandable that sometimes they arrive late because they’re coming from far away, so we just have to be considerate.
“However, with the pictorial that was scheduled for them several times but they didn’t attend, the time of other actors was also affected.
“After that, they never replied anymore for the promotion, premiere night, and even the last presscon.
"Lesson learned na rin for us."

FIRST-TIME DAD AT 49
Nakatulong daw para mabawasan ang pagkadismayang nararamdaman ni Carlos ang nalalapit na pagsisilang ni Felicia sa kanilang anak.
Sa edad na 49, magiging ama si Carlos sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon kaya ang pagdating ng baby girl nila ni Felicia ang isa sa mga nagpapasaya sa kanya.
Pagbabahagi niya, “We’re expecting Felicia to give birth between the last week of August and the first week of September.”
