Si Jona ang ipinalit kay Katrina Velarde bilang isa sa guest performers, kasama si Janine Teñoso, sa 98 Degrees Live in Manila, ang two-night concert ng sikat na American vocal group na 98 Degrees.
Itatanghal ang concert ng 98 Degrees sa SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, sa Mayo 30 at 31, 2025.
Ang 98 Degrees ay binubuo nina Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre, at ng magkapatid na Nick at Drew Lachey.

Unang inihayag ni Katrina sa official Facebook page nito noong Mayo 24 na bukod sa hindi na matutuloy ang pagtatanghal niya sa Viva Café sa Hunyo 7, hindi na rin siya makakakanta sa concert ng 98 Degrees.
Mensahe ng singer: “Hi mga mima ko, my Viva Cafe gig on June 7 is not pushing through due unforeseen circumstances because of medical reasons.
“I won’t be able to sing also sa 98 Degrees concert on May 30 and 31. Pasensya na po and thank you for understanding.
"But I am okay. Don’t worry mga bekle."

KATRINA OUT, JONA IN
Nanghinayang ang mga tagahanga ni Katrina dahil nangangahulugan itong hindi na matutuloy ang inaasahang pag-awit ni Katrina at ng 98 Degrees sa collaboration song nila na "I Do (Cherish You)."
Naglabas din ng opisyal na pahayag ang VAA Live at Viva Records, producers ng 98 Degrees Live in Manila, tungkol sa desisyong ipalit si Jona kay Katrina.
Nakasaad dito: “As initially announced by Ms. Katrina Velarde in her social media accounts, we ask for everyone’s understanding as she will no longer be participating as a guest performer in the upcoming 98 Degrees Live in Manila concerts happening on May 30 and 31 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
“We pray for Katrina’s speedy recovery as her health is our utmost priority."
Ayon pa sa kanila: “We are excited to announce that Jona will be joining the upcoming 98 Degrees Live in Manila concerts. We hope to see everyone and we thank all the fans for understanding.”
