Napaiyak si Atasha Muhlach nang malaman nitong siya ang magbibida sa Philippine adaptation ng popular Thai series na Bad Genius.
“Sa totoo lang, naiyak ako sa bahay," pagbabahagi niya sa media conference para sa cast reveal na nangyari sa Viva Café kahapon, Marso 18, 2025.
"When I found out, parang surreal moment.
"And siyempre naman, super-super grateful ako, kasi this is such a big opportunity and this is my first.
"And I am so honored to do such a great project with a great team.
“I am very excited. Of course, I am nervous kasi ito po yung first lead na project.
"Pero in terms of the work itself, when I first read about it, I already knew that accepting it, I’m going to give my one hundred percent.
“Wala po akong expectation kung what the results gonna be, but as long as I can promise myself that I give my one hundred percent, then I will be super-super happy with that.”

Saad niya: “I just want to act, sa totoo lang. I just want to work and if the opportunity comes, then why not?
“Because my rule in life, when I always do this, is I don’t wanna close my doors with anything.
"At least, I get to say that I tried and I gave my best.”

NO COMPETITION WITH TWIN BROTHER ANDRES
Nilinaw ni Atasha na walang kumpetisyon sa pagitan nila ng kanyang kakambal na si Andres Muhlach, na bida naman sa Viva One hit series na Ang Mutya ng Section E.
“Wala naman competition po kasi that’s my brother,” sabi ni Atasha.
“He is my bestfriend since day one. If anything, I am so, so proud of him.
"And I am so happy for him with how he’s doing with Mutya and the whole cast of Mutya ng Section E, a big big congratulations to them. And I always tell them that.
“So in terms of competition or pressure when it comes to my family, wala pong ganoon, wala. Support lang, support and love.”

PROUD PARENTS
Ang mga magulang nina Atasha at Andres na sina Aga Muhlach at Charlene Gonzalez ay maligayang-maligaya para sa magagandang nangyayari sa mga showbiz career ng kanilang mga anak.
