Nagpapasalamat si Kuh Ledesma dahil nagkaroon siya ng pagkakataong dalawin si Danny Javier, ilang araw bago binawian ng buhay ang 75-year-old APO Hiking Society member noong Lunes, October 31, 2022.

Dahil sa kuwento ni Kuh, nagkaroon ng ideya ang publiko tungkol sa mga huling sandali ng buhay ni Danny.
Nalaman nilang naratay ang singer-songwriter sa National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) sa Quezon City.
Pahayag ni Kuh, “The Apo Hiking Society will always have a special place in my heart. Danny was especially sweet to me.
“Bakit kaya? He was funny and always made ma laugh. Feeling debonair, and tall, dark, and medyo handsome. He was paporma to the girls but a dad to the young.
“I'm so grateful to God that I was able to see him just a few days before his passing. Buboy [APO member Boboy Garrovillo] helped me with connections to get in NKI (National Kidney Institute) for a visit and I was allowed in Danny's ICU room.
“The medical staff were very friendly and accommodating. I held Danny's hand for a whole thirty minutes and I kept praying with him. He nodded a couple of times. My last words to him were: 'Focus on Jesus. He loves you so much.'
“I truly believe that God can do the impossible, but I guess the Lord has better plans for Danny.
“He is now in the most beautiful and the most peaceful place.Jesus promised that he has prepared a place for those who love him.”
Pinasalamatan ni Kuh si Danny at nagbitaw ng pangakong pahahalagahan niya ang kanilang pagkakaibigan.
“I will miss you my dear Danny and I will always treasure the friendship. Thank you for some of the most touching and inspiring songs. We will never forget.”
Hindi nalilimutan ni Kuh na papurihan ang Panginoong Diyos sa lahat ng mga panayam sa kanya.
Sa interbyu kay Kuh ng Cabinet Files noong October 18, 2022, sabi niya: “The Lord is faithful to those who are faithful. Ang prayer ko talaga, ‘Lord encourage me everyday. Talagang walang paltos grabe. Alam nila ni Lord na mag-encourage sa akin."
Ang labis na pagpapahalaga ni Kuh sa mga salita ng Diyos ang dahilan kaya hindi niya nakaligtaang banggitin sa kanyang Instagram post tungkol sa paglisan ni Danny ang nakasaad sa John 14:2-6:
"In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
