Natuwa si Lovi Poe nang i-promote ng direktor na si Joel Lamangan ang kanilang pelikula na Hindi Tayo Pwede sa Senate hearing tungkol sa franchise renewal ng ABS-CBN noong Lunes, February 24, 2020.
May dahilan si Lovi para maging masaya dahil ang kanyang half-sister na si Senator Grace Poe ang nagsabi kay Direk Joel na baka may mga project itong gustong i-promote.
Dahil may permiso ng chair ng Senate Committee on Public Sevice, binanggit ni Joel na may pelikula itong ipalalabas sa mga sinehan sa March 4, ang Hindi Tayo Pwede, bago siya umalis sa Senado para asikasuhin ang post-production ng kanyang bagong movie project.
“I love it!” ang nakangiting reaksiyon ni Lovi nang tanungin siya ng Cabinet Files tungkol sa pagpo-promote ni Joel sa Senado ng kanilang pelikula/
Dahil sa suggestion ni Senator Grace, hindi sinasadyang nakatulong para madagdagan ang ingay ng Hindi Tayo Pwede.
Sina Tony Labrusca at Marco Gumabao ang leading men ni Lovi sa Hindi Tayo Pwede.
Saludo siya sa pagiging gentlemen ng dalawa, lalo na nang kunan ang kanilang mga love scene para sa pelikula.
"That’s something that people will talk about, pero I think it’s nice to surprise people as well.
"Kasi kapag napanood nila, they’re just gonna expect a beautiful love scene.
"Doon nila mare-realize na, ‘Oh, this is written by Sir Ricky Lee.This is directed by Joel Lamangan, that’s why the movie is so beautiful.’
“You know, it’s nice to surprise people.
"It’s something that expected talaga when you’re paired with these guys.
"It’s something na pag-iisipan nila [ng mga tao], which is not a bad thing. It’s actually a compliment for them.
"At least, that’s how I see it, but it’s nice na magugulat sila kung gaano kaganda yung pelikula.
"Si Tony, first time ko nakatrabaho.
"The scenes that we shot were very critical, and it’s just so nice I was able to share that level of emotion with him.
"Kasi nga, ipinakita sa story na you get to love but you cannot love the same way twice," sabi ni Lovi tungkol sa diumano’y tastefully done intimate scenes nila nina Tony at Marco sa Hindi Tayo Pwede.
