GMA-7 adds another gem to its treasure chest of fantasy
drama series with Adarna.
The newest
primetime soap narrates the tale of the young Ada, who unbeknownst to her, is the destined savior-healer of the alternate
universe called Pugad Sanghaya.
Ada (played by the lovely Kylie Padilla) is deceptively
homely and hunchback, which often gets her harsh treatment from a world
prejudiced against the ugly. In spite of this, Ada is able to radiate her good
heart and heal those around her with her gift.
The young woman becomes the object of
affection of three men: Migo (Geoff Eigenmann), a celebrity jock; Bok (Benjamin
Alves), a street-smart "kanto boy;" and Falco (Mikael Daez), a winged healer
like Ada, who is sent to train her for her true calling.
Directed by Ricky Davao, Adarna also stars seasoned actors Jean Garcia, Jestoni Alarcon, veteran actor Dante Rivero, and young GMA-7 talents Chynna Ortaleza, Saab Magalona, Ryza Cenon, Michelle Madrigal, and Arkin Magalona.
Adarna
premieres on Monday night, November 18, on GMA-7's primetime block.
