Kahit may invitation ay hindi nakarating si Sharon Cuneta sa ABS-CBN Ball na ginanap sa Makati Shangri-La Hotel noong Sabado, September 29.
Sa kanyang Instagram account noong weekend, ikinuwento ng 52-year-old singer/actress/host na handa na lahat para sa pagdalo niya sa event noong Sabado, kagaya ng gown at glam team na mag-aayos sa kanya.
Pero dahil sa matinding pagod at pananakit ng katawan matapos ang kanyang 40th anniversary concert sa Araneta Coliseum noong Biyernes September 28, isang gabi bago ang ABS-CBN Ball, nagdesisyon siyang huwag nang dumalo.
Mensahe ng Megastar, “The star who was invited to the ABS-CBN BALL thought last night that she was definitely gonna be ready to go.
"Until she woke up this afternoon and her whoooole boooodyyyy was aching sooooo much that she couldn’t walk straight- cos she forgot she wanted to go to the Ball after singing, standing, dancing, moving for hours on stage last night!
"So girl is gonna eat her first (again, yes, FIRST) meal today when room service arrives, then conk out and sleep, hopefully long enough to recover for work tomorrow (Yes, tomorrow and everyday after!)!"
Bukod kay Sharon, imbitado rin ang anak na si KC Concepcion sa ABS-CBN, pero hindi rin ito nakarating.
Nitong weekend ay nag-post pa si KC sa Instagram Story ng invitation niya sa ball.
Sinabi ni KC na thankful siya sa imbitasyon at umaasa raw na maiimbitahan pa siya para makadalo sa annual event.
