“I’m used to it. I can face them, like, if we do a debate, I can outtalk them,” paliwanag ng 29-anyos na aktor nang makausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa story conference ng Elise, ang kanyang upcoming movie kasama si Janine Gutierrez.
“So, right now, what I’m saying, kahit hindi kami magsalita ngayon, the majority of the people are talking, which is good, which is healthy for our country,” pagtukoy ni Enchong sa mainit na usaping pampulitika ngayon sa social media.
"Kasi you would always have opposite comments, or opinions, or views and that make our country beautiful, that make our country strong, and the democracy strong, when we have opposing views.
“But it’s different when you do it in social media because you fight someone with no face, you’re fighting with someone who cannot defend their opinions intellectually, thus they would go to personal attacks.
“So, it’s not offending when you’re fighting with someone who has no personality, because after all, it’s a ghost, di ba?”
Hirit pa ng aktor, “But I like it when I get to hang out with my friends or someone I don’t know with opposing views, then we get to share.
“And right now, obviously, I don’t need to talk, because majority of the people are talking already.”
