Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla shot a love scene in a jacuzzi for their primetime teleserye Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw.
In the said ABS-CBN show, their characters—Roxanne and Bogs—got married in a church in Malabon while their honeymoon took place in Boracay. Roxanne and Bogs kissed passionately while they were together in a jacuzzi. They were later seen lying together in bed.
According to Kantar Media data, the February 5 episode featuring the church wedding of Roxanne and Bogs garnered 20.3% national TV ratings. This was higher compared to its rival program in GMA-7, Temptation of Wife, which registered 17.7%.

Last night, February 6, Kris thanked one of her followers for praising her performance in Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw. The TV host-actress then posted a tweet saying that KKI will be her "last teleserye."
She later clarified: "I’m not retiring, just prioritizing. It was my dream to become an actress- but my talent isn’t in becoming a character, but just being me.
"Kris Tv remains strong & is an excellent venue for us to connect, PGT4 [Pilipinas Got Talent 4] will start Feb 16 already & they r so optimistic because it is fresh.
"There’s a new show in the horizon & I know u will enjoy that because u keep telling me u miss me in that format. Things do fall into place."
