Pahayag niya, “Well, actually kasi, lahat naman po iyan is approved, it’s in General Appropriations Act [GAA].

“Every year, we do a… may budget hearing po kami wherein we defend our budget.

“It’s really the allowances of our board which they truly deserved.”

Dagdag ng MTRCB chair, “They go to work almost every day, they have reviewed hundreds of materials, and karapat-dapat lang naman nilang makuha ang allowance na yun.”

"Some of them have to travel from Samar, from Davao, from the Visayas, from Iloilo, and from Bacolod.

FAMILY SUMMIT.

Lahad niya, “Aside na nagbago na lahat ng board members natin, we are doing for the first time our family summit in Visayas and in Mindanao this year.

“Kasi the past years, ang family summit is always in Metro Manila.

"So I want to bring it to Visayas and Mindanao, lalo na po na 100 ang ating Philippine cinemas, and the first Filipino movie was shown in Cebu.

“Plus, alam mo naman, kasama sa board member ko si Miss Gloria Sevilla, who is also a Cebuano, a very known batikang artista.

“And it would be nice for our Visayan brothers and sisters to feel how important the first film was shown.

“How important it is for us to go there because the first film was shown there.”
