Jolo Revilla posts back-to-back hugot quotes after rumored breakup with Jodi Sta. Maria: "Sometimes the thing we can't change end up changing us."

Jolo Revilla continues to upload cryptic "hugot" posts in his social media accounts a week after news broke out that he and Jodi Sta. Maria have called it quits.

On his Instagram stories, the actor-politician posted two puzzling quotes.

The first one read: "Some people are real. Some people are good.

"Some people are fake and some people are real good at being fake."

This quote was followed by a photo of a beer bottle posted at past 1 a.m. in the morning.

Later on, Jolo posted: "Sometimes the thing we can't change end up changing us."

Last June 16, the Cavite Vice Governor greeted Jodi on her 36th birthday.

His birthday message carried a different tone from his previous messages to Jodi, referring to the actress by the nickname "Jods" and not "my love" or "asawa."

A report by PEP Troika then fueled speculations that Jodi and Jolo did break up.

JODI'S SIDE. Jodi evaded questons regarding her love life during a group interview on the set of her current series Sana Dalawa Ang Puso Ko last Wednesday, June 20.

In an Instagram status posted by reporter Pilar Mateo, the Kapamilya actress simply said "Thank you" when asked about her relationship status.

The group interview ended on that note.
