GMA-7's newest afternoon soap, Daldalita, brings forth a family-oriented program that reconnects humans with animals. Directed by Don Michael Perez and written by Denoy Navarro-Punio, Daldalita tells the story of little Lolita, played by Jillian Ward, who possesses the ability to communicate with animals.
Despite her extraordinary gift, Lolita's journey takes the audience through a series of tragedies: losing her mother (Donna Cruz) at birth, being separated from her widow father (Ogie Alcasid), and ending up in a duck farm where she will be raised by its owner (Timmy Cruz).
Set to premiere on October 17, the soap's cast also includes Rufa Mae Quinto, Manilyn Reynes, Isabel Oli, Elmo Magalona, Julie Ann San Jose, Marc Abaya, Eunice "Charming" Lagunsad, Arnold Reyes, Jinky Oda, Joey Paras, and Spanky Manikan.
