Jun Lana holds Mentorship Writing for aspiring screenwriters

Two of the most remarkable distinctions that Jun Lana earned for his film works were the Best Screenplay awards for Marilou Diaz-Abaya's Jose Rizal (shared with Ricky Lee and Peter Ong Lim) and Sa Pusod ng Dagat, which won at the Brussels European Film Festival. Both films were show in 1998.

Award-winning writer and youngest Palanca Hall of Famer Jun Lana is offering a FREE writing mentorship program for aspiring screenwriters.

Interested applicants may submit their CV and a one-page essay (in Filipino) on why they want to pursue a career in screenwriting to junlana@rocketmail.com.

Only three applicants will be chosen to participate in an intensive three-month individualized mentorship program aimed to refine their craft and expose them to career opportunities within the entertainment field.

Deadline for submission is on October 15, 2010.
