Pokwang promises three nights of laughter on her first major concert called Endangered Species on October 15, 16, and 17 at the Aliw Theater, PICC Complex in Pasay City.
The comedy actress will be accompanied by fellow comedians Pooh, Chokoleit, Elizabeth Ramsey and Mahal in giving entertainment to the audience.
On the first night, October 15, Sam Milby and Zsa Zsa Padilla will join the group. The following night, October 16, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, Melai Cantiveros, Regine Velasquez, and Piolo Pascual will be there to extend their support to Pokwang by perfoming on stage. Finally, on October 17, Melai, John Lloyd Cruz, and Kuh Ledesma will join Pokwang to cap off her three-night show.
"Bukod sa puro tawa at saka talagang mga skit na nakakaloka, Mayroon po kaming landi-landian dito ni Piolo, landi-landian with Sam, landi-landian with Papa John Lloyd, at showdown ng ngalangala-siyempre, sa mga totoong diva like Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Kuh Ledesma. Si Chokoleit at saka si Pooh pa lang, riot na 'yan, e. So, talagang barubalan na ito nang bonggang-bongga," described Pokwang during the media junket prepared for her three-day concert last week.
In an interview with one of its producer, Joed Serrano, he hinted that their team is actually preparing a lot of surprises for the show.
"Actually, maraming gimik dito sina Pokie. Iba't ibang segment at ibang-iba ang personality niya," he said.
He also explained why they with a comedy theme instead of just a plain music concert.
The former producer of Vice Ganda's hit concert at the Araneta Coliseum explained, "Kung mapapansin ninyo, yong mga tao ngayon, gusto nila natatawa. Hindi na uso ngayon 'yong puro kanta, napansin ko 'yon. Karamihan ng mga singers na nagko-concert ngayon, hindi maganda ang turnout kasi kantahan lang. So, ito ang formula na naisip ko. Kasi napansin ko gusto ng tao ngayon, matawa."
