This Saturday, May 29, ABS-CBN will launch another action-packed series featuring Jake Cuenca in Agimat presents Elias Paniki.
"I feel so blessed na once again, binigyan ako ng ABS-CBN ng isang role na tumatak na sa isip ng mga Pinoy dahil nga sa original nitong lead character na si Mr. Ramon Revilla Sr.," Jake was quoted as saying in an interview.
In the newest Agimat offering, Jake unveils the action star in him. This time he will play the role of a man-turned-superhero. Elias is a typical probinsiyano who was trained by a soldier named Victor and was given the "bertud ng paniki". His journey then begins as he battles against the witch using his powerful amulet.
Jake hopes that this Agimat installment will be as successful as the former series starred by Gerald Anderson, Jolo Revilla and Coco Martin. He further stated that he is proud of the whole cast including Ms. Cherry Pie Picache, Jojit Lorenzo, Kelly Misa, Xian Lim, Hermes Bautista and Sam Pinto.
The pilot episode of Elias Paniki, directed by Dondon Santos, will be shown back-to-back with the finale of Tonyong Bayawak, played by Coco Martin.
