"Nation's Girl Group" BINI marks a major milestone for Filipino music after delivering its debut performance at Coachella 2026, held on April 11, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
The eight-member group is also the first P-Pop group to perform at the iconic music festival.
Their highly anticipated set was met with loud cheers from the crowd and strong reactions across social media, with fans praising their stage presence, vocals, and choreography.
Shortly after BINI’s performance, the hashtag #BINI_CoachellaWk1 climbed to the number one spot on X's trending topics list.
According to Pop Core, a popular pop culture page on X, BINI recorded nearly three million mentions and over eight million engagements on the platform in less than eight hours following its Coachella set.

Several celebrities and fellow artists congratulated the BINI ladies for their achievement.
Among them was SB19, who posted a message on X: "BINIchella stage is another huge win for P-pop on the global stage! Congrats @BINI_ph, you truly made the Coachella stage Blush tonight [emojis]
"Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino, sana’y magpatuloy ang panalo ng P-pop sa buong mundo! [emojis],” the group wrote.
BINI responded to the message, expressing gratitude and showing support for SB19, which is also set to represent Original Pilipino Music (OPM) on another major international stage, the Lollapalooza.
"2.. 3.. maraming salamat! Panalo nating lahat ’to. [emoji] Good luck din sa pagtaas ng bandera ng OPM sa Lollapalooza! Eyyyyyy! [emoji],” BINI replied.

SB19 members Stell and Justin also took to their personal social media accounts to congratulate their fellow P-pop idols.
Justin reposted a tweet on X referencing the so-called “Getty Images curse,” which appeared to spare BINI, and simply captioned it with, “Booogsh! [emoji]"
For those who may not know, the “Getty Images curse” is an online meme, popular in fandoms, referring to Getty Images’ unedited and candid celebrity photos that often look awkward or unflattering.

Taking to X, BGYO wrote: "A huge congratulations to @BINI_ph for their iconic debut on the Coachella stage. Sobrang proud kami para sa inyo! Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino! [emojis]”
