Sinuspindi ng Grab Philippines ang TNVS (Transport Network Vehicle Service) driver na nagkomento nang malaswa tungkol sa Kapamilya actress na si Xyriel Manabat.
Sa pahayag ng Grab na inilabas nitong Miyerkules ng gabi, April 8, 2026, sinabi ng kompanya na humingi na rin sila ng dispensa sa aktres.
Ipinangako nila kay Xyriel na gagawin nila ang nararapat upang mapanagot ang driver sa hindi magandang asal nito.
Nakasaad sa official statement: "Grab Philippines extends its sincere apology to Ms. Xyriel Manabat for the unacceptable experience she had with a driver.
"What was reported is deeply concerning and does not reflect the standards we uphold on the platform.
"We are already in direct contact with Ms. Manabat, have offered our full support and ensured her concerns were heard."
Naka-preventive suspension na raw ang TNVS driver dahil sa "grave violation and a bannable offense" alinsunod sa kanilang "driver guidelines."
Saad nila: "We are also prepared to cooperate fully with relevant authorities. Upon our initial investigation, the driver-partner involved has been placed under preventive suspension.
"Grab affirms that such behavior constitutes a grave violation and a bannable offense under our Driver Guidelines.
"While all driver-partners on the Grab platform undergo mandatory safe spaces and anti-harassment training through Grab Academy and accredited partner organizations, we recognize that this incident demands more than a restatement of existing protocols.
"We are now undertaking a comprehensive review of our driver behavior protocols, including those governing post-trip conduct, and will introduce further safeguards to address any gaps this incident may have exposed.
"Every person who uses Grab has the right to feel safe. We will continue to hold ourselves and our driver-partners to that standard, without exception."
Paalala pa nila sa mga mananakay: "If any part of your journey falls short of a secure experience, report it immediately through the Grab app’s 24/7 Safety Center so we can take action."

Naging viral ang post ng TNVS driver sa Facebook noong April 7, 2026, kung saan ibinahagi niya ang selfie photo nila ni Xyriel bago bumaba ng sasakyan ang aktres.
Caption ng driver sa selfie photo nila (published as is): "nagulat ako nagpapicture sa akin.
"xyrill manabat: kuya picture tayo bago ako bumaba.
"ako: sure maam wag mo lang ibenta picture ko.
"ang LAKI ng bata na yan."
Sa comments section ay nakipagpalitan pa ng mga bastos na sailta ang driver, na may handle name na "Boss Toyo Mansi," sa ilang nagkomento sa kanyang post.
Kumalat ang post sa X (dating Twitter), kung saan binatikos ng maraming netizens ang bastos na driver.
Kinumpirma ni Xyriel sa TV5 entertainment reporter na si MJ Marfori kahapon, April 8, na siya nga ang kasama ng driver sa selfie.
Papunta raw siya ng taping noong araw na iyon.
Sinabi ng aktres na hindi niya palalampasin ang pambabastos sa kanya ng driver.
Bahagi ng pahayag ni Xyriel: "I hope the platform or the app should do something about this because it's not petty.
"It's not something na any woman or anyone, not just women, should experience on a daily basis.
"Also, sobrang nagulat ako kasi papunta lang ako ng trabaho niyan.
"And imagine kung gaano kahirap yung buhay ng isang babae, nagtrabaho ka lang, may nagpa-picture lang sa yo.
"You're just being kind. You're just being a human, a decent human being. And you'll get this in return.
"And it's not, again, it's never about the piece of clothing. Nakapantrabaho ako.
"Maayos ko siyang kinausap. As far as I could remember, ang bait-bait ko sa kanya.
"Nag-tip pa nga ata ako kasi nahiya ako pag may pinaghihintay akong tao."
Pagkastigo pa ni Xyriel sa driver: "So, wow. I hope na your family, your mom, your sister, or worse, if you have a daughter, your wife, di ba, parang, sana makita nila ito.
"Sana makita nila na ganyang klase kang tao."
Sa kasalukuyan ay deactivated na ang Facebook account ng TNVS driver.
