Beauty queens don't always have to be prim and proper, they can also be relatable and fun to hang out with.
Just like the growing friendship of Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao, Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma, and Miss Cosmo 2025 1st Runner-Up Chelsea Fernandez.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with the beauty queens to talk about the unexpected but meaningful impact their bond has had on supporters.
The trio's group is called "Love, Joy, Hope."
Speaking about the positive response of their supporters, Joy said: "We're so grateful for the support of the people. Yung love, joy, hope namin parang it carries a message that whatever we are going through...
"Lalo na in this economy, of course, it's really important to be reminded of our core values, the love, joy, and the hope."

When asked what makes Love, Joy, Hope click so naturally with fans, Emma explained that their chemistry comes from simply being themselves.
She elaborated: "Lumabas yung ganyan I think because nakita na nila yung personality talaga ng queens na they're not just demure.
"Di ba sanay tayo na beauty queens, demure lang sila? Just saying, 'Hi, hello.'
"Pero this one, tao ang mga beauty queens. Kaya makipagbardagulan, kaya makipagbiruan. At the same time, may respeto po yung mga fans, di ba?
"So I'm so happy with the love, joy, hope tandem, and I hope soon magsama-sama kami sa iisang stage."
LOVE, JOY, HOPE FRIENDSHIP: HOW IT STARTED
Chelsea, Joy, and Emma embraced the name “Love, Joy, Hope” as their group name, drawing inspiration from ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2025 titled "Love, Joy, Hope."
It's a tagline that also gained meme popularity, thanks to Coco Martin.
For the trio, they explained that the name was a natural fit, as it also directly represents each of them.
Chelsea explained: "Kasi ang nickname po is Lovely, so nasho-shorten pa siya into Love.
"Tapos siyempre si Joy, name niya Joy. So si Ate Emma is Hope.
"So nagkarooon kaming ng, alam mo yun, yung group na Love, Joy, Hope."
But how exactly did their friendship begin? Their bond started when they began doing livestreams on TikTok.
Chelsea recalled that their chemistry naturally developed during their live sessions, especially when they had pageant-related activities.
She recalled: "Doon talaga nag-start. Kasi kunwari may mga pageant kami, tapos magla-live kami on TikTok.
"Tapos nagustuhan ng mga tao yung mga humor namin. So magkakaiba kasi kami ng humor.
"Tapos nagkaroon pa one time nag-live kaming tatlo. So parang, alam mo yun, na-showcase naming yung iba't iba naming personality and characteristics tapos nag-click siya sa mga tao.
"So minsan, pag naka-live ako, inaabangan nila, 'Ay, sana mag-live din si Ate Emma, si Joy.' Sa ang ganda ng nabuo naming friendship on TikTok."
Chelsea clarified that they had been friends even before they started live streaming, and it just so happened that fans eventually caught on to their genuine friendship.
"Although, magpi-friends naman talaga kami before pa kami, alam mo yun, mag-live sa TikTok.
"Pero this time kasi mas madami pa kaming, alam mo yun, mas madami na nag-join sa friendship na ito. So Love, Joy, Hope."
LOVE, JOY, HOPE: MESSAGE TO FANS
PEP also asked the trio for their message to their fans.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Chelsea expressed her gratitude and shared her hope that people would continue to support their journey.
She said, "First of all, we are very grateful. Thank you so much for all of your love, support."
Referring to fans who showed up for their charity initiative, Chelsea added, "Honestly, eto sila, sila po yung nauna dito. Before 1 P.M., andito na sila para mag-support."
She continued, "So thank you so much, kasi mas nagaganahan kami ipakita yung talent namin, yung skills namin kasi 100% na andun kayo nakasuporta samin at nakaalalay din.
"So maraming maraming salamat. And I hope na mas lumaki pa yung pamilya natin."
The three were recently seen together, on March 31, 2026, when Emma successfully mounted Purpose in Every Purchase: Beauty Queen’s Closet Sale, a charity bazaar held at the studio of renowned Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais in Quezon City.
The event brought together pageant fans, supporters, and fellow queens, with proceeds intended to support advocacy-driven efforts.
