Diretsong ibinigay ni Gary Valenciano ang kanyang opinyon sa kontrobersiyal na mga pahayag ng kasamahan niya sa pananampalataya na si Alvin Aragon tungkol sa sanga-sangang isyu sa SexBomb concert.
Si Alvin ay dating contender sa StarStruck Season 1, at mister ng dating SexBomb Girls member na si Izzy Trazona.
Mainit na usapin ang mga binitawang dahilan ni Alvin kung bakit tingin niya ay tama ang desisyon ni Izzy na hindi mag-participate sa successful series of concerts ng SexBomb.
Hindi sang-ayon si Alvin sa sexy outfits ng SexBomb, at kinuwestiyon niya ang ibang mister ng SexBomb members kung bakit hinayaan ng mga itong mag-perform sa concert.
Bilang mister, hindi raw niya hahayaan si Izzy na magsuot ng sexy outfit na ikananasa pa ng ibang lalaking makakakita raw rito.
Kabilang si Gary sa special guests sa reunion concert ng SexBomb.
Nadawit din sa isyu ang pahayag ni Alvin na tutol siya sa transition ng trans woman na anak ni Izzy na si Andrei Trazona, na ngayon ay kilala bilang Sofia.
Tahasang sinabi ni Alvin na mahigpit na ipinag-uutos sa Bibliya ang "homosexuality" at ang hindi raw pagtalikod dito ay ikapupunta ng indibidwal na homosexual sa impiyerno.

Binatikos nang husto si Alvin, na isang self-confessed born-again Christian.
GARY VALENCIANO ON PREACHING ABOUT THE BIBLE
Si Gary ay kilala sa showbiz na bukas sa kanyang religious beliefs, kaya hiningan siya ng reaksiyon sa isyu.
Saad ng beteranong singer: "Well, I don’t know what kind of walk Alvin has had with the Lord that he talks about, and I know he’s talking about the same God I’m talking about, we both quote from the same Bible. I don’t know…
"But I will let people know that when or if you pray about something, and if God speaks to you and says something totally different and opposite from what you had been called to do, challenges will really follow.
"Will you follow your conscience where people will say things? Or will you follow the voice that speaks to you even if it will cost you so much, including being bashed with a lot of people?"
Sa mga sumunod niyang salita, ipinahiwatig ni Gary na may tamang paraan upang ipahayag ang pananaw tungkol sa salita ng Diyos.
“Now, as to how you carry out things, that’s something that you learn through time.
"I was once a Christian who was honeymooning with the Lord when I first came to know Him and I was like that.
"But it took me time to learn that the truth, even if it hurts, you don’t have to make it hurt more because it hurts enough already.
“It just a matter of time before you begin to settle and able to see each other’s reasoning," pahayag niya.
Tingin ni Gary ay may dahilan kung bakit mainit na pinag-uusapan ang isyu.
"But I know it’s been moving a lot of people. The best thing about it is that people are opening up about their faith, even those who are offended.
"So, I don’t know how God is orchestrating to bring people together, but He is. And people are listening and watching and that’s great.”
Naranasan ba ni Gary na ma-bash dahil sa pagbabahagi niya ng salita ng Diyos?
"Yeah, there are people who says, 'Maybe you should not talk about the gospel anymore,'" ani Gary.
Ipinahiwatig din ni Gary na hindi siya preacher na karaniwang nagtuturo tungkol sa salita ng Diyos.
Kaya raw kapag nasa entablado siya ay nakapokus siya sa personal niyang karanasan kung gaano kabuti ang Diyos sa kanyang buhay.
"I don’t come out on stage to preach. I just come out on stage to share.
"Because you know why? Whatever this body has gone through and whatever I read from the gospel, whether promises that has been given to me, it’s been proven.
"Even what happened today," ani Gary, na ang tinutukoy ay ang paggaling niya sa kabila ng kanyang health issue.
Hindi rin kaila na bukas si Gary sa pagsasabing bawat proyekto at pagharap niya sa tao ay hindi gawa ng sariling lakas o karunungan niya kundi biyaya mula sa Panginoon.
Aniya ukol dito: "I’ve been bashed. But no matter what I do, even if I won’t say about the gospel, I’ll still be bashed. I will not be able to please everybody."

GARY VALENCIANO ON RECOVERING FROM CELLULITIS
Nakapanayam si Gary sa mediacon para sa kauna-unahan niyang podcast show, ang Unshaken: Stories of Grit and Grace.
Ginanap ito sa Manila House sa BGC sa Taguig City, noong February 20, 2026.
Sakay si Gary sa wheelchair nang dumating sa presscon at nakaupo siya rito habang kinakapanayam ng piling press at vloggers sa event.
Kaya katanungan ng mga naroon, "Bakit naka-wheelchair si Gary?"
Ipinaliwanag ni Gary na nanggaling siya sa ospital at na-confine ng ilang araw dahil sa pamamaga ng kanyang legs.
Muntik na nga raw siyang hindi makadalo sa presscon dahil sa kanyang health issue.
“I didn’t want what you see to overpower what’s actually going to take place and what we’re actually sharing with everyone," tukoy ni Gary sa irony sa kanyang kondisyon at sa tema ng kanyang podcast.
"But since it’s being unshaken and stories of grit and grace, I thought this is the best way to prove it.
"But if this was scheduled yesterday, there would be no way that I would be here," pag-amin niya.
Ayon kay Gary, na-diagnose siya ng cellulitis, isang skin infection sa bandang lower leg niya.
"And to immediately answer the question that you might have in your mind, why did you come in a wheelchair?
"I’m actually on my way to getting better. I have what it’s called cellulitis on my left leg.
"There was a slight opening somewhere, we don’t know where that opening was, but bacteria got in and the rest is history.
"It swelled my leg up and then they had to conduct so many tests."
Binanggit din niyang pagkatapos ng presscon ay pinababalik siya sa ospital para sa iba pang tests.

GARY VALENCIANO ON HOSTING A PODCAST SHOW
Ipinaalala ng awtor na ito na minsan nang inanunsiyo ni Gary na ang solo major concert niya noong December 2024 ang huling big concert niya at magpo-focus siya sa possibly smaller-scale productions.
Sinabi rin ni Gary noong may "vision" na pinapakita sa kanya ang Panginoon sa susunod na yugto ng journey niya.
Isa ba rito ang Unshaken podcast show na gagawin niya?
"Yes, this is one of those," sagot ni Gary.
"It’s not as grand, but this is certainly fulfilling to do.
"And I was really scared to do this because I’m the head, I’m the one conducting this duty. I’m the one doing it, I’m the one leading, hosting it.
"But I’m also with incredible people like with Ms. Rinka Sycip," tukoy niya sa producer o creative director ng show.
Ano ang konsepto niya sa show?
"Well, ang isa sa hinahanap ko ay yung walang showbiz, even if you’re in showbiz.
"And you know what’s nice? We’re shooting it at home, and that word, 'home' is, I think, they first feel when they come to our house.
"Oh, it’s not Gary Valenciano’s house, it’s his home. We have lunch first before we shoot anything or some time they came before lunch, but it’s exciting."
Hindi raw siya para basta na lang magpapasabog ng mga balita tungkol sa kanyang interviewees.
"I’m not a controversial fellow who will ask controversial questions. I always ask, 'Hey, no one asks you about this before, can I?' Then they’ll tell you.
"I like that they’re very honest about it or they don’t feel good about it.
"But I want it because I wanted to be real and authentic as I can be, otherwise we may end up as a typical showbiz talk show."
Sabay paglilinaw niya, “I have nothing against showbiz talk show, it’s entertaining but this [Unshaken] is more than entertainment."
