Isang opisyal na pahayag ang natanggap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ngayong Biyernes ng gabi, Pebrero 13, 2026, mula sa kampo ni Bea Alonzo.
Tungkol ito sa reaksiyon ng aktres sa public apology na inilabas ng veteran entertainment reporter na si Cristy Fermin at ng mga co-host nito sa kanyang YouTube program na Showbiz Now Na na sina Wendell Alvarez at Romel Villamor aka Romel Chika.
May kinalaman ang paghingi ng paumanhin ng tatlo kay Bea at sa pamilya nito sa demandang cyber libel na isinampa ng aktres sa Quezon City Prosecutor's Office noong Mayo 2, 2024.

Noong Hunyo 2025, inirekomenda ng Quezon City Prosecutor's Office na pormal na sampahan ng kaso sina Fermin, Alvarez, at Villamor dahil sa diumano’y mapanirang vlog ng mga ito laban kay Bea.

BEA ALONZO STATEMENT
Sa official statement na inilabas ng legal counsel ni Bea Alonzo mula sa Garcia Elauria Ruanto & Associates (GERA) law office, sinabi nilang pinili ng aktres na patawarin na ang mga akusado.
Bukas na raw ang aktres sa mediation upang resolbahin ang kasong cyber libel na isinampa nito laban kina Fermin, Alvarez, at Villamor.
Ngunit nilinaw nilang ang desisyong ito ay hindi pag-atras o pagpapahinuhod kundi "act of resolve, anchored in forgiveness."
Gusto rin daw ni Bea na ituon ang kanyang atensiyon sa kanyang trabaho, mga adbokasiya, at ang kanyang role bilang babae "who uplifts others, particularly those navigating their own silent battles."
Narito ang kabuuan ng pahayag ni Bea na ipinadala sa PEP ng kanyang manager na si Shirley Kuan: “After two years of legal proceedings & with the case pending before the Regional Trial Court, this matter has run its course under the law. The process has not been easy for any party involved. It has required accountability, reflection & fortitude.
“It is within this context that I share the perspective that led our client, Ms. Bea Alonzo, to consider resolving this matter through mediation.
“This decision is neither an act of retreat nor concession. Rather, it is an act of resolve, anchored in forgiveness.
“Upon deep reflection, Ms. Alonzo has chosen to forgive.
"Not out of weakness but out of strength. Not to erase what was done, but to free herself from a cycle of harm & hostility that no longer serves her life or her purpose.
“She views this chapter not as something to carry forward but as something to close, with grace, dignity & peace.
“Moving forward, Ms. Alonzo wishes to focus on what truly matters, her work, her advocacies & her role as a woman who uplifts others, particularly those navigating their own silent battles.
“We ask that this moment be seen for what it truly is. Not merely an ending, but a powerful expression of emotional maturity, personal growth & courage.
“We thank all those who continue to respect both the legal process & the humanity behind it.”

CRISTY FERMIN, TWO CO-ACCUSED ISSUE PUBLIC APOLOGY
Nagpapasalamat naman sina nina Fermin, Alvarez, at Villamor dahil pinatawad sila ni Bea.
Pinagsisisihan daw nila ang kanilang naging aksyon.
Hindi raw nila intensiyong siraan, ma-offend, o saktan ang aktres.
Hihinto na raw sila sa pagbibigay ng anumang komentaryo at content na makakasira kay Bea.
Nakasaad sa kanilang joint statement: “We are issuing this heartfelt and sincere apology to Ms. Bea Alonzo and her family for the harm caused by our statements and postings about her on our social media platforms.
"We deeply regret the unintended and unfortunate consequences of our actions, including the public persecution that Ms. Alonzo has endured.
“It was never our intention to defame, offend, or harm Ms. Alonzo in any way.
"We realize now that our words might have fallen short of the respect and fairness that everyone deserves, especially someone who has dedicated her life to her craft and her audience.
“We resolve to cease and desist from any further commentary or content that would put Ms. Alonzo in a negative light.
“We are truly grateful to Ms. Alonzo for her willingness to work towards resolution and healing.
“To Ms. Alonzo, we extend our gratitude. We are hopeful that we can both move on from this chapter with a renewed understanding and mutual respect.
“Thank you to everyone for your understanding, and for giving us the chance to rectify our unintended shortcomings.”

THE VLOGS OF FERMIN AND CO-HOSTS
Sa mga panayam noon sa mga legal counsel ni Bea Alonzo, hindi nila idinetalye kung ano ang mga partikular na sinabi nina Fermin, Alvarez, at Villamor na nag-udyok sa aktres para sampahan sila ng cyber libel.
Sinuma ng PEP.ph noong May 13, 2024 ang 16 episodes na inilabas ni Cristy tungkol kay Bea, sakop ang mga buwan ng Enero hanggang Mayo, 2024.
Ang nilalaman ng vlogs ay may kinalaman sa sanga-sangang isyung ikinabit sa hiwalayan nina Bea at ang fiancé nito noong si Dominic Roque.
May mga malinaw na pangungutya roon si Cristy kay Bea at sa nangyaring breakup nito kay Dominic.
Sa vlog ni Cristy noong March 2024 ay lumabas naman ang mga alegasyon ng dating driver ni Bea laban sa aktres.
Ito ay mga reklamo umano ng dating driver sa work conditions, benefits, at overtime pay noong panahong naninilbihan siya kay Bea.
Sinabi ni Cristy na ang source niya ay ang girlfriend ng dating driver.
Ang sinasabing source ay idinemanda rin ni Bea. Ito ang cyberlibel complaint na inakyat ng piskalya sa korte.
