Elisse Joson indefinitely flips the page on a past issue she no longer wants to linger in 2026.
On New Year’s Day, the actress took to TikTok to directly address the long-running “kabit” claims that have hovered over parts of her personal life.
In the video, Elisse appears wearing a plum tube top, her wavy hair worn loose, as she looks straight into the camera and briefly forms a heart with her hands.
Text over the clip reads: “Goodbye 2025. Time to clear the air — not a kabit. Never was.
"2026: minding my own business, building, and choosing peace.
“Leaving false narratives in 2025. Entering 2026 lighter.”
The post was largely met with messages of support, though one netizen caught Elisse’s attention by asking (published as is), “Pero naging reason nang breakup?”
Elisse replied simply and firmly: “No.”

Earlier, the Saving Grace actress had also shared a New Year’s video of her family watching fireworks, with daughter Felize by her side.
Reflecting on the year, Elisse described 2025 as “the year that broke me and quietly rebuilt me.”
She wrote in the caption of the video: “Thank you, 2025. Hello, 2026. I’m excited for you! [fireworks emoji]
“Wishing the new year to be kinder to you in all the ways you need. [white heart emoji]”

Speculation linking Elisse to alleged third-party situations dates back to 2021, when she was rumored to be involved in the breakup of estranged couple Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla.
None of the three parties publicly confirmed the rumors at the time. Kylie later clarified that it was not AJ Raval, Abrenica’s current partner, who caused their split.
Elisse found herself entangled in third-party speculation again in 2024, this time linked to fellow Star Magic artist and Pinoy Big Brother alumnus Joshua Garcia, who was then and remains in a relationship with Emilienne Vigier.
Showbiz vlogger Ogie Diaz alleged that the two had grown “too close” during an event in 2024, though he acknowledged having limited details and said he preferred to hear directly from those involved before fully believing the claims.
Elisse previously had a long-term, on-and-off relationship with McCoy de Leon. The two officially parted ways in July 2025 and are currently co-parenting their daughter, Felize McKenzie de Leon.
