"You have a free will, you know. You can do whatever you want," saad ni Joseph nang tanungin ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung ano ang advantage ng pagiging single.

"And at the same time, you know, walang distractions. You can focus on yourself, focus on your family and focus on the things that you love," dagdag niya.

Sa kaso niya, "Well, right now, I really want to focus on work."

Paliwanag ni Marco: "Take care of yourself for her and you take care of yourself for me.

"Kasi, ang nangyayari baliktad, e. Na, 'Alagaan mo ako, girlfriend kita, e. Alagaan kita, girlfriend kita.' Hindi.

"Once you take good care of yourself, she's going to benefit from it.

"If you read so much books, you take care of yourself, you eat good food, you try to be better each day as a person, siya magbe-benefit. Makikita niya, mai-inspire siya.

"So it's, you know, kumbaga, kargo mo sarili mo, kargo ko sarili ko."

"Kasi, you know, nagiging misconception, kapag malungkot tayo, kapag damaged tayo, we're gonna look for someone who's gonna save us.

"Like, if you're not fully healed, if you're not completely okay, kawawa lang yung tao.

"You're gonna say you're okay. But then again, pag nag-away na kayo and naging toxic na, ikaw, lalabas yung toxicity mo kasi hindi ka pa talaga fully healed.

"So, you really have to be super okay before you enter a relationship.

"I think that's the best thing kasi, or else, ipapasa mo lang yung mga traumas mo in life. Kawawa lang yung tao."

ON INVESTMENTS

"I feel like I'm done with them. You know, there's a term that says just because something is hard to obtain doesn't mean it's valuable.

"Look at the car he's driving, look at the watch he's wearing, look at the girl he's with.

"But then you have it, sure, me-enjoy mo siya, for what? Three months, four months, five months. And then you feel empty again."

JOSEPH MARCO ON REAL HAPPINESS

"I really think that the most valuable things in life are family, friends, you know, like the fulfillment for yourself, your soul, and your purpose.

"So, I feel like I'm just grateful that I'm done with material stuff. Pinagdaanan ko siya, na-enjoy ko siya, but it's not the answer to happiness."

"I feel like happiness is fleeting. If you keep chasing happiness, you know the term hedonic treadmill? Para kang nasa treadmill, always running, always near but never arriving.

"You keep on wanting more even after you get to a certain point.

"But when you learn how to be content, it's amazing—the wonders it gives to your body," lahad ni Joseph.
