Tricia Robredo, the daughter of former Vice-President and now Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, revealed that she has been engaged since 2024.
In an Instagram post on November 12, 2025, Tricia shared photos that were taken when her boyfriend proposed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, last year, marking the first anniversary of their engagement.
She captioned the post, “My morning run was cut short a year ago today. Unli miles were promised to make up for it.”

Tricia’s announcement was met with an outpouring of greetings and support from family, friends, and several celebrities.
Among those who congratulated her were Marjorie Barretto, Dani Barretto, Melai Cantiveros, Cherry Pie Picache, director Antoinette Jadaone, and social media influencers Laureen Uy, David Guison, and Dennise Lazaro.
Tricia is the second of three daughters of current Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo and the late former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo.

She previously worked as a courtside reporter for the National University men’s basketball team.
In 2020, she earned a dual degree—Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master in Business Administration (MBA)—from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.
She later pursued a graduate degree at Harvard Medical School in 2022.
