Mariing pinabulaanan ng dating senador na si Bong Revilla ang mga alegasyong nag-uugnay sa kanya sa malawakang korapsyon kaugnay ng flood control projects ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Sa pagpapatuloy ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee inquiry ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 25, 2025, kabilang si Revilla sa mga mambabatas na binanggit ni dating DPWH Undersecretary for Operations Roberto Bernardo na tumanggap umano ng kickback.

BONG REVILLA CONDEMNS ALLEGATIONS
Ang Divina Law ang naglabas ng pahayag para sa kanilang kliyente, ang aktor at dating senador na si Revilla.
Alegasyon ni Bernardo, tumanggap si Revilla ng kickback na nagkakahalaga ng PHP125 million mula sa pondo ng flood control projects ng DPWH.
Sa opisyal na pahayag na inilabas nila ngayong Setyembre 25—na nataon sa ika-59 na kaarawan ni Revilla—kinondena ng actor-politician ang mga alegasyon ni Bernardo.
Nakasaad sa statement ng Divina Law, isa sa top law firms sa Pilipinas: “Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla Jr. condemns the allegations raised by former DPWH Undersecretary Roberto R. Bernardo during today’s Senate hearing.
"They are absolutely untrue.
“Mr. Revilla welcomes and is fully prepared to cooperate with any official inquiry or legal process to shed light on the truth.
"It is not his character to shy away, hide from, or evade challenges.
"Mr. Revilla is one with the public in demanding accountability.
"He will not allow sinister forces to use his good name to thwart that end. He will face this head-on."

Mabigat ang akusasyon ni Bernardo laban kay Revilla.
Bahagi ng sinumpaang-salaysay ni Bernardo na binasa sa Senate Blue Ribbon Committee inquiry: "Sometime in the year 2024, Senator Bong Revilla and I met where I gave him a list of projects given to me by Engineer Alcantara.
“Senator Revilla asked for a commitment which I suggested and then he approved at 25 percent of the total amount on the projects indicated in the list hereto attached as Annex C.
“I relayed the 25% percent commitment to Engineer Alcantara and told him that Senator Revilla will appreciate additional contribution for his senatorial re-election bid.
“Engineer Alcantara collected the 25 percent committed or about PHP125 million which was turned over to me and then delivered to Senator Revilla in his house in Cavite.”

HOUSE SPEAKER MARTIN ROMUALDEZ MAINTAINS HIS INNOCENCE
Sinagot din ni former House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang sinumpaang salaysay ni Orly Guteza, ang dating miyembro ng security staff ni Ako Bicol Party-List Representative Zaldy Co.
Ayon kay Guteza, nanggaling kay Co ang perang nakalagay sa mga maleta at nagkakahalaga ng PHP1.68 billion na dinadala nila ng kanyang mga kasama sa tahanan ni Romualdez sa Forbes Park, Makati City.
Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataong may nagbanggit sa pangalan ni Romualdez at nagsangkot sa kanya sa flood control project anomalies sa pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.
Bahagi ng pahayag ni Romualdez:
“I was deeply surprised to hear the allegation raised against me today before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee—that several pieces of luggage supposedly containing money were ever delivered to a residence associated with me.
“The so-called testimony of Sen. Marcoleta’s witness is an outright and complete fabrication—nothing more than a desperate attempt to link me to supposed kickbacks where none exist. Pilit na pilit.
“Kahit kailan, hindi ako nagnakaw ng pondo ng bayan. Hindi ko kailangan ang perang galing sa masama.
“To the Filipino people, I give you this solemn assurance. I will never betray your trust.”
Samantala, tumanggi si Guteza na sumailalim sa Witness Protection Program ng Department of Justice dahil ayaw raw niyang makaabala ng ibang tao.
Bilang dating miyembro ng Philippine Marines, kayang-kaya raw niyang protektahan ang sarili.
