ABS-CBN Corp. revenues hit PHP8.28B in first half of 2025

It is six percent higher compared to last year.

Nakapagtala ang ABS-CBN Corporation ng total consolidated revenues na PHP8.28 billion sa first half ng 2025.

Mas mataas ito ng anim na porsiyento kumpara sa naitala nito sa katulad na panahon noong 2024.

Ayon pa sa ulat, batay sa stock exchange filing nito ring August 13, ang pagtaas ng total consolidated revenues ng ABS-CBN Corp. ay bunsod ng content distribution, advertising, digital, at iba pang global initiatives.

ABS-CBN CORP’S PRIMETIME SHOWS DRIVE REGULAR ADVERTISING REVENUE

Ang Content Production and Distribution ng ABS-CBN Corp. ay nakalikha raw ng total revenue na PHP6.35 billion mula January hanggang June 2025.

Kinakatawan nito ang 29 percent increase kumpara sa katulad na panahon noong 2024.

Tumaas din ang advertising revenue ng 27 percent, habang ang consumer revenue ay may 34 percent increase.

Ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng kumpanya: “Regular advertising revenue benefited significantly from improved ratings performance of leading primetime shows, including Batang Quiapo, Incognito, and TV Patrol, the country’s longest-running news program.

“The film division delivered strong box-office results from And the Breadwinner is… and My Love Will Make You Disappear, with robust performance in overseas markets.”

ABS-CBN CORP’S DIGITAL ADVERTISING INCREASES

Lumaki rin daw ang digital advertising ng ABS-CBN Corp. nang limang porsiyento.

Pinalakas ito ng magandang performance sa iWant, Kapamilya Online Live, at ng pinalawak na presensya sa iba pang third-party platforms gaya ng YouTube.

Sinabi ng kumpanya na ang patuloy na pagdami ng iWant subscribers—domestically and internationally—ay nakatulong din para lumago ang revenue.

LIVE EVENTS CONTRIBUTE TO ABS-CBN CORP’S PROFITS

Idinagdag ng ABS-CBN Corp. na may kontribusyon din ang Live events sa revenue, partikular ang BINI World Tour na sinimulan ang kanilang sold-out performance sa Philippine Arena.

Nagpatuloy ang naturang world tour sa 14 na lungsod kabilang ang Dubai, London, Vancouver, Toronto, at sa 10 malalaking lungsod sa Amerika.

Nakapagdaos ang ABS-CBN Global ng kabuuang 16 events sa international markets, “further contributing to revenue growth.”

Nakapagtala naman daw ang ABS-CBN Corp. ng total consolidated net loss na PHP852 million sa unang anim na buwan ng 2025.

Mas mababa ito ng PHP1.27 billion, o 60 porsiyento, kumpara sa P2.13 billion total consolidated net loss sa parehong panahon noong 2024.

Tiniyak ng kumpanya na ipagpapatuloy nito ang paglilingkod sa Filipino audiences sa buong mundo sa pamamagitan ng pagpapaganda ng sarili nitong platforms.

Palalawakin din nito ang partnerships and collaborations, at palalakihin ang distribution channels.
