Joy Barcoma of Bacoor City is crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2025 on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Okada Manila in Parañaque City.
An early crowd favorite, Joy outshines 35 other candidates from various provinces and cities across the Philippines.

She succeeds Davao del Sur's Irha Mel Alfeche, who finished in the Top 12 at Miss Earth 2024, where the crown went to Jessica Lane of Australia.

Joy Barcoma's Winning Answer
In the final round, Joy and the other Top 5 finalists are asked the same question while wearing noise-canceling headphones.
The question: "How would you utilize the platform of Miss Philippines Earth to make a positive impact in the community?"
Joy answers with confidence: "For twenty-five years, Miss Philippines Earth has been at the forefront of environmentalism.
"If I am to become a queen of the Miss Philippines Earth organization, I would like to evoke eco-consciousness to the youth.
"Make smart innovations and inclusive investments in the Philippines for us to be able to move forward.
"Because I'd like to prove that we are not just the women of the earth—we are also women of the future."

Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Runners-Up
Joining Joy in her elemental court are:

- Angel Rose Tambal of La Paz, Leyte – Miss Philippines Water 2025
- Jaymie Strickland of the Filipino community in Tallahassee, Florida, USA – Miss Philippines Fire 2025
- Kriezl Jane Torres of Talakag, Bukidnon – Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism 2025
The remaining candidates in the Top 10 who di not advance to the Top 5 are automatically declared runners-up.
Joy will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2025.
As of this writing, the exact schedule and venue for the global edition of the pageant have yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, the Philippines has claimed multiple Miss Earth titles in the past, with victories by Karla Henry (2008), Jamie Herrell (2014), Angelia Ong (2015), and Karen Ibasco (2017).
