“Miscommunication” ang sagot ng namamahala sa showbiz career nina Aljur at Vin Abrenica tungkol sa pahayag ng legal counsel ng Bright Ideas Productions na padadalhan nila ng demand letter ang magkapatid dahil sa hindi pagsipot sa premiere night, promo guestings, at press conference ng Wild Boys.
Sina Aljur at Vin ang lead stars sa pelikulang nakatakdang ipalabas sa mga sinehan sa August 13, 2025.
Sa panayam ni Anne Cerezo ng ABS-CBN Entertainment News, sinabi ng management nina Aljur at Vin na hindi sila nabigyan ng schedule at hindi nasabi sa kanila na ang Viva Films ang distributor ng Wild Boys.
Hindi raw nila alam na ang tauhan ng Viva Films ang makikipag-uganayan para sa promo activities ng magkapatid.

NICO LOCCO ON WORKING WITH ABRENICA BROTHERS
Si Nico Locco ang isa sa mga artista ng Wild Boys.
Sa eksklusibong panayam sa kanya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), nagbahagi si Nico ng saloobin tungkol sa isyung hindi pagsipot nina Aljur at Vin sa promo activities ng mga artista ng unang movie directorial job ng kanilang kapwa-aktor na si Carlos Morales.
Naging maingat si Nico sa pagsasalita dahil iginiit niyang hindi personal na atake o paninira laban sa Abrenica borthers ang kanyang mga pahayag.
Pahayag niya: “For the record, this is not a personal attack to the Abrenica brothers.
"It is an observation sa actors, kahit sino yung actor na yan, I will really make things balanced mainly because silang dalawa ang, kumbaga, leads in this film.
"They’re the top billers for this film so sana maayos yung promo nila. Kasi ako, I’ve been promoting this film. Ang daming guestings.
“Ako, major support, so parang ang expectation sa lead actors is to promote the film nang maayos or show up on set on time.”

Nakikisimpatiya raw si Nico sa mga producer ng pelikula nila.
“I do. I really do," sambit niya.
"I feel bad for the producers. I feel bad for the financers. I feel bad for the director.
"I feel bad for everybody, most of all, to the production staff and yung co-actors ko.
"Kasi like I said, there was a day, specifically, ang init ng ulo ko because I waited, they waited six hours for a certain actor to show up and hindi siya nag-show up [on time] — si Aljur.
“Group scene since it’s a dance movie so kailangan lahat present for the scene. Na-late siya.
“I am not sure kung nag-sorry siya. I am not sure pero medyo parang off.
"That was very frustrating for me kasi, like I said sa presscon, we have a very simple job—to know our lines, all the materials, all the characters, and show up on time.”
NICO LOCCO ON PROFESSIONALISM
Malaki raw ang pagpapahalaga ni Nico sa salitang professionalism.
Saad ng Canadian-Italian actor-host: “Sobrang-sobrang importante para sa akin kung gusto mong tumagal sa industriya.
"Kasi, at the end of the day, maraming actors at maraming magaling, so what will set you apart from the others?
“Aside from being magaling is yung ugali, so dapat maganda yung ugali mo when it comes to being on set and set etiquette, like showing up on time.
“Being professional is number one para sa akin.
"Kasi, for me, it’s a team. Being an actor is being part of the team.
"So there’s a lot of people relying on us, actors, to show up on time.
“These are people’s livelihood. People are investing money.
"Tapos yung mga tao sa set, yung sound guy, yung PAs, lahat, they’re all relying on everybody to work together kasi that’s their way of living.
"So I take it very seriously."

WILL NICO WORK AGAIN WITH ALJUR AND VIN ABRENICA?
Hindi kaya ma-offend o masaktan ang Abrenica brothers sa kanyang mga pahayag?
“Hindi ko alam. Hindi ko alam,” sagot ni Nico.
"I hope not kasi if it wasn’t them, if it’s somebody else, I would say the same thing. Kaya sinasabi ko, it’s not personal.
“I love what I do and I love acting and I take it very seriously. Ako, I’ve sacrificed a lot to be where I am now, to be an artista, and that is a responsibility para sa akin.
“Ako, as someone who made sacrifices as an artist, I feel frustrated na hindi ginagawa ng iba [ang obligasyon] para sa film, lalo na sila yung leads."
Pagpapatuloy ni Nico: “Don’t take it for granted, that’s what I am trying to say, kasi you’re only as good as your last project. I always say that.
"So, kung ganyan ang last project nila, sayang.
“I kinda feel bad for them in a way. Siyempre, I don’t wanna make sira to anybody’s career and it’s hard to hear yung mga legal matters na may kaso sila.
“It’s hard to hear that kasi I wouldn’t want to be in their position.
"I am sure, marami silang challenges sa career nila. I understand that.
"And I am sure marami silang sacrifices to be where they are and to be considered as an Abrenica.
“I am not trying to make sira sa careers nila, but I’m saying na sana professional sila in the workplace.”
Sa tanong kung handa ba siyang muling makatrabaho sina Aljur at Vin, natigilan si Nico bago sumagot.
Aniya: “Hmmm… for now, hindi. Hindi muna because, again, I am not sure if they’re gonna be on time.
"And ako, as an actor, if I am late kahit thirty minutes, nakakahiya because people are waiting for me.
“You made other artists wait and that is disrespect to your co-artists.
“And ibig sabihin niyan, mas mataas ka kesa sa kanila? Kasi for me, that’s how I see it. Mas mataas ka kasi wala kang respeto sa ibang artists.
"I think it’s my message for every artist na if you decide to be an artista, take responsibility and don’t take it for granted.
"Kasi, we’re very lucky to be where we are. Sa maraming artista, to have a lead role, to have a major support role sa isang film is a dream and it’s a blessing.
“So, dapat take it seriously and be professional on set—show up on time, know your lines, know your character.”
