Ibinahagi ni Pia Magalona sa Instagram ang award na tinanggap ng namayapa niyang asawang si Master Rapper Francis Magalona mula sa FILSCAP o Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Inc.
Isa sa mga ibinahaging larawan ni Pia ay ang plake ng asawa na may nakasulat na "POSTHUMOUS AWARD."
Sa caption ng kanyang post, pinasalamatan ni Pia ang FILSCAP sa pag-alala nito sa namayapang asawa.
Sunod ay ang mga katuwang nila sa paggawa ng musika noon hanggang ngayon.
Pati na ang record labels na sumusuporta pa rin sa musika ng Master Rapper.
Sabi ni Pia: "04.24.2025 On behalf and in loving memory of my dearest, late husband FrancisM, our family would like to thank FILSCAP for this honor.
"This award is dedicated to all who were a part of our music odd-ventures: Hardware Syndrome, Spindicate Posse and the Evil Stepsisters, our cohorts all throughout.
"To Francis’ musical influences from abroad, the hip-hop and R&B scene coming out of NYC in the 70s-80s, and locally, the Manila and ‘Gapo sounds.
"To our favorite recording studio, Tracks, our sound engineer, Anjee Rozul who collaborated with Francis for the way we wanted our sound to be heard.
"Our record labels, OctoArts and Sony/BMG, who supported what began as a simple dream of a young man to “be on wax,” and grew into an unconventional social commentary for the times.
"To this day, FrancisM’s music prevails, and will do so, as long as we continue to make poor choices in leadership.
"It also reminds us to be hopeful that day will come when these lyrics may transform into just a reminder of what we should not fall back into."

PIA: "Hanggang ngayon, nangingibabaw ang musika’ng FrancisM"
Dagdag pa ni Pia, magpapatuloy raw ang musika ng pumanaw na asawa.
Paalala rin daw noon ni Francis na huwag mawalan ng pag-asa sa buhay.
Aniya: "Hanggang ngayon, nangingibabaw ang musika’ng FrancisM, at ito’y magpapatuloy hanggang hindi natin itinatama ang pagpipili ng karampatang pamumuno.
"Paalala rin ni FrancisM sa atin na huwag mawalan ng pag-asa na darating ang araw na ang mga saloobing isinulat na ito ay maaaring maging isang paalala na lamang sa kung ano ang hindi natin dapat balikan."

Muling nagpasalamat si Pia sa FILSCAP dahil ngayong taon daw ay ipagdiriwang ang ika-30 anibersaryo ng FreeMan album ni Francis.
Saad niya: "Thank you, FILSCAP, for the respect you have shown to our family all this time.
"2025 also happens to be the 30th anniversary of the FreeMan album of which we’d like to do a vinyl release, and I pray for blessings for the project."
Ibinahagi rin ni Pia ang tropeyo sa kanyang pamilya, lalo na sa kanyang ina na lumalaban sa inhustisya at kurapsyon.
Dagdag pa ni Pia: "Finally, this award is for our family: our children who served as the guide and motivation for the work we put into creating these tracks, for my and Francis’ siblings, both sets of our parents, and most especially my mom Edwina Koch Arroyo, who served as a great inspiration to Francis when it came to facts on Philippine History, from the perspective of a Fil-Am child who lost her father to WWII.
"EKA was a staunch EDSA Reformist, and taught Francis what true activism meant, which allowed him to express lyrically our sentiments growing up indoctrinated under martial law, injustice and corruption."
