Matapos mahalal bagong pope si Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost o si Pope Leo XIV, unti-unti nang naglalabasan ang ilang impormasyon pati na mga lumang litrato nito.
Kabilang sa kumakalat ngayon sa social media ay ang mga larawan ni Pope Leo XIV nang bumisita siya sa Pilipinas noon.
Ayon sa mga post, nagpunta sa Pilipinas si Pope Leo XIV noong 2004 at 2010.

POPE LEO XIV IN THE PHILIPPINES IN 2004 AND 2010
Ayon sa Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) News, bumisita si Pope Leo XIV sa Cebu noong 2004.
Sa Facebook page CBCP News, binanggit sa post na siya ang nag-officite ng misa para sa 19th anniversary ng Augustinian Community of Santo Niño de Cebu Parish sa Barangay Mohon, Talisay City, Cebu.
May kalakip itong larawan ng mas batang Pope Leo XIV sa gitna ng isang seremonya noong 2010.
Sa pagkakataong ito, sa Maynila naman siya nagtungo.
"In 2010, he was in Manila to attend the order’s [Augustinian] intermediate general chapter,” ayon sa CBCP News.
Lumalabas na nagkaroon din siya ng ibang commitments sa ilang lugar sa Central Luzon noong 2010.
Isang netizen ang nag-post ng throwback photo kasama ang bagong Santo Papa matapos itong ideklarang bagong pinuno ng Simbahang Katoliko.
Ipinost ni Carlo Olayta ang 2010 photo niya kasama si Pope Leo XIV nang bumisita ang huli sa Bulacan.
Caption ni Olayta sa larawan: “This was taken last 2010 during the Solemn Profession of Sr. Agnes Park, OSA of the Augustinian Monastery of Mother of Good Counsel in Tungkong Mangga, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
“Fortunately, it was also the Intermediate General Chapter of the Augustinian Order in the Philippines, and we were able to meet then Rev. Fr. Robert Francis Prevost, OSA, who was then the Prior General of the Order of St. Augustine.”
Hindi maitago ni Olayta ang kagalakan niya na naging papa ang noo'y si Reverend Father Prevost.
“Never in my wildest dreams that I will have the chance to meet the man who will one day sit on the Chair of St. Peter. We pray for you Pope Leo XIV!” aniya.
Nahalal bilang bagong papa si Pope Leo XIV sa Vatican City noong Mayo 8, 2025 (Mayo 9 ng madaling-araw sa Pilipinas).
Siya ay American-born na kalaunan ay naging Peruvian national dahil sa pagsisilbi sa church sa Peru.
Siya ang 267th pope, at sumunod kay Pope Francis na pumanaw noong April 21.
