ALEXIE BROOKS DURING Q&A
Alexie’s confidence and poise shone through during the question-and-answer segment.
When asked to envision the world in 2050, Alexie replied: "If you want me to be realistic, climate change is impacting our world right now. And the only thing that we can do is to act towards it.
"Brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen, we have the same mother, even if we came from different nations.
"And we in here are brothers and sisters right now. And our mother is asking for our help.
"So we must save our planet Earth, and we must take care of our Mother Earth. Thank you so much."
With her victory, Alexie became the third representative from the Philippines to win the Miss Eco International title.

"There are those days or there are times that you feel more masculine, and there are times you feel more feminine," said Alexie in a March 2024 interview.
"You know, we live in a society where people would label you, that if you're gay, you just be gay. If you're lesbian, then be a man."
She added: "I have days that I'm very feminine. I'd wake up and I'm listening to Beyonce or Rihanna, and then I have days that I feel more masculine.
"But Alexie is Alexie regardless of, you know, what she feels like wearing on that day."
