Pageant season na naman kaya naghahanda na ang organizers ng Miss World Quezon City para sa kanilang inaugural pageant.
Noong nakaraang linggo, ipinakilala sa press ang sampu sa labing-anim na kandidata ng Miss World Quezon City sa Grand Westside Hotel sa Parañaque City.
Isa-isang inirampa ng sampung kandidata ang kanilang national costume na gawa sa recycled materials.
Hindi nakarating ang anim pang kandidata dahil sa prior commitments.

MISS WORLD QUEZON CITY 2025 CANDIDATES
Sa pagrampa ng sampung kandidata ng Miss World Quezon City 2025, ipinakita nila ang kanilang national costume na gawa sa local recyclable materials sa lugar nila.

Sa panayam kay Jeannie Jarina, ang franchise holder ng Miss World Philippines Quezon City, inihayag niya ang mga hinahanap nilang kandidata para maging kinatawan ng Quezon City sa Miss World Philippines 2025.
Si Jeannie ay itinanghal na Mrs. Universe Philippines West Pacific 2022.

Saad ni Jeannie, "Of course, someone who is unique, has a unique character, must be intelligent.
"Number one is very intelligent, beautiful, and of course, has a great body and a great attitude."
Ano masasabi niya sa mga kandidata nila?
Tugon niya, "Very stiff competition because they are all beautiful, intelligent, and has a great body.
"They were very fit, and then, emotional quotient, they were very ready.
"Panlaban namin sila, pang-national, pang-international, kaya."
May mga criteria na ba sila para sa kumpetisyon?
"Actually, different categories because like this, the NatCos, what we want here is how you are going to be creative, parang making things out of, like, trash.
"And then, something you have to recycle all the materials, and then making just like a gown.
"So, iba-iba kasi yung criteria."
Ano ang kanilang mga papremyo para sa tatanghaling Miss World Quezon City 2025?
Saad ni Jeannie, "We have PHP100,000 cash for the main title.
"And then, we have the PHP50,000, and then PHP25,000 for the princesses."
Gaganapin ang grand finals ng Miss World Quezon City sa April 5, 2025 sa Novotel, Quezon City.
