Dating konektado sa Viva Records, nagsasarili na ngayon ang independent talent manager na si Jaworski Garcia o Boss J sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga kumpanya.
Umpisang lahad niya, “I’m Jaworski Garcia of Blacksheep Manila, Blacksheep Manila Studios, Blacksheep Records Manila, so basta Blacksheep brand.
“I think this is the biggest venture na ginawa ko.”
Ang mga artist na hawak ni Jaworski ay sina Ethan Loukas, Section Juan, at Vjosh Tribe.
Dagdag pa niya, “Tapos, meron kaming bago yung acoustic rock si Victorio, tapos yung Outplayed.
“Tapos, yung iba… dati kasi naka-affiliate tayo sa Viva so last year we’ve decided to go independent.
Bakit siya nagdesisyon na humiwalay sa Viva?
Maayos ba ang hiwalayan nila?
“Ay, oo. Boss Vic gave me everything," bulalas ni Jaworski na ang tinutukoy ay si Vic del Rosario na pinuno ng Viva Records, Vivamax at Viva Entertainment.
Aniya pa, "Blacksheep Records Manila will not be there without Boss Vic.
“And tinatanaw ko lagi ng utang na loob iyan kay Boss Vic, giving me the opportunity during the pandemic.
“So, we were not able to hit what we wanted, but yung malalaking artist ko like Magnus Haven is still with Vicor.
“I left one or two artists sa Viva that we believe there would be an option for them dun sa Viva. The separation is mutual, e.
"I wanted to go somehow indie, then Viva medyo saturated na rin naman sila, dahil sa sobrang dami ng artists.
“So, kami-kami naglalaban kami dun sa spot namin dun sa Spotify, for example. So, kumbaga parang we need to address that.
"And I saw the opportunity of going independent kasi siguro during the pandemic, I saved some amount of money also to share with the artists.
“So iyon naman yun ang nangyari talaga, kasi we always wanted to be independent naman from the big record labels.”

JAWORSKI garcia, INSPIRED BY VIVA BIG BOSS
Ano ang kaibahan ngayon na independent companies na ang pinapatakbo niya at siya na mismo ang nagpapatakbo kumpara noong nasa Viva pa siya?
Lahad ni Boss J, “Compared with Viva, siyempre they have, I think, the biggest marketing team in terms of OPM.
"We all know naman that the biggest name of OPM started from Viva.
“So, like sa ngayon naman meron pa rin silang sobrang lalaking pangalan, so I wanted to do the same.
"Kasi noong I was inspired by Boss Vic, when he told me about how Viva started, they were like connected with other international labels also as si Boss Vic mismo.
"Tapos, later on, tinayo na yung Vicor. Same thing that I'm just doing right now, na parang yun talaga kasi kapag meron kang dream na ikaw yung nagde-decide.
“Sa akin talaga biggest inspiration ko si Boss Vic. Ang kaibahan lang ngayon sa akin, I decide on things, kumbaga parang ako na.
Kung nakita ko yung potential ng artist, I will not be texting, Boss Vic, ‘Boss, puwede ba ito?’, parang ganun. So ngayon, ako na yun.
“Yung dream ko, na-fulfill ko na dito, kasi dati si Boss Vic parang tatay natin yan, anytime na mag-text ako, sasagot iyan.
“So, for three years, ganun naman si Boss Vic sa akin, very helpful.
"Lahat ng gagawin ko siguro sa music, mga 90 percent of that inspired by Boss Vic.
“So, I wanted to be like him, actually. Maliban lang sa buhok, makapal kasi yung buhok ko e,” tumatawang pagbibiro ni Jaworski.
Patuloy niya, “Hindi, ano namin iyan, joke namin ni Boss Vic iyan, pero ano iyan, love ko si Boss Vic talaga.
“Super grateful ako sa Viva for giving me that opportunity. Three years plus na yung Blacksheep Records and Viva collaboration. So ano natin iyan, love natin si Boss Vic.”

JAWORSKI garcia: DREAM COME TRUE
Nagbukas rin si Jaworski ng sarili niyang studio sa Pasig City.
Ano ang main purpose ng kanyang studio? Saan ito gagamitin?
Saad ni Jaworksi, “First of all, yung studio kasi it's a culmination of my dream. Being part of music advertisement and entertainment industry.
“So, parang I saw the need for those industries to have such an alternative option, kasi pag naghahanap kami, medyo mataas talaga yung rate.
“So, what I did, dahil marami tayong kaibigan sa industriya, suwerte ako nung nakuha ko ito, parang puwede ko ibigay sa kanila ng mas mababang presyo.
“So iyon talaga yung parang target ko, para kumbaga ma-enjoy nung mga kasama natin sa industriya yung quality, well-equipped, then malaki yung space, na hindi tayo nag-aagawan sa parking lot.
“Tapos ito, kung makikita niyo, around you, we have more than 12 accent walls, na ang ano ko diyan, ang term ko diyan ‘tanggalable,’ e.
“So palit, shoot, palit, shoot, palit. Hindi ka na nag... kumbaga lahat nandito na.
"Ang hirap kasi humanap nung studio na kumbaga ganun kabilis yung pagpalit ng accent wall.
“So naisip ko, sabi ko, why not put up something na helping the industry I am in. Tapos iyan, ito na, one month after, ito na ‘to."
Bulalas pa ni Jaworski, “Parang nagulat din ako. Ang bilis, e, pero, hopefully, ma-realize nung mga kaibigan natin meron tayong option na binibigay si Jawo na mas mura, pero quality.
"Iyon talaga yung lagi kong… na cheap but quality.”
Dagdag pa niyang sinabi tungkol sa serbisyo ng kanyang bagong tayong studio, “[For] photo shoot, video shoot…”
Recording studio puwede din?
Aniya, “Live music, live music performance, puwede dito, podcast, vlogging, anything.
"Yung first client namin actually, the brand is Tefal. They did live streaming for the Lazada 7 something nila, so we did it here.
“So, we have two Internet connections na sobrang lakas, na lagi ding hinahanap ng mga clients. So, iyan yung binibigay natin dito sa Blacksheep Manila Studios.”
