2NE1 member Sandara Park, popularly known as Dara, was overflowing with emotions as she personally announced her group's comeback concert to her Filipino fans.
On Sunday, August 4, 2024, Dara made a triumphant return to the Manila concert scene, performing at Acer Day 2024.
She stood out among the headlining acts, including Acer Philippines' brand ambassadors, SB19 and G22.
"I'm so happy to be back home!" she exclaimed to the crowd.

DARA: 2NE1 IN MANILA
During her set, Dara fought back tears as she proudly informed her fans that she and her girl group will be making a concert comeback beginning this October.
After performing her latest single "Dara Dara," the K-Pop star told her fans, Daralings and Blackjacks, "Hindi ko alam if aware kayong lahat but meron akong good news sa buhay ko at sa buhay ng mga fans ko...
"I'm really thankful and I'm blessed that one of my greatest wish came true. 2NE1 is back!"
Lightening the mood, she joked, "Grabe talaga, parang gusto ko uminom! Ay, walang beer? Sige, water na lang."
Dara expressed her heartfelt wish for a Manila stop for their comeback concert tour.
"We're starting a tour... starting from October in Seoul. And sana, many more countries, di ba?
"Dapat meron ding Manila stop, di ba? Hindi puwedeng walang Manila sa 2NE1 tour.
"At sana dito ulit kami mag-concert sa MOA Arena just like before. Let's pray for that."
On July 21, 2024, YG Entertainment officially announced the group's comeback concert to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
Thus far, the group has revealed concert dates in Seoul, South Korea, and Japan as part of their comeback tour.
But even before the group's highly anticipated Manila concert-scene comeback, Dara already gave their fans a teaser of what's to come as she performed some of the group's songs during her set.
She started with a stripped version of their 2009 chart-topping hit "I Don't Care."
The crowd was electrified when Dara launched into another beloved track from the group, encouraging them to sing along.
She said, "Isipin natin practice natin to for 2NE1's concert."
She then delivered a powerful medley of "I Am The Best" and "Can't Nobody."
After her performance, Dara said, "Ang saya kantahin ng 2NE1 songs. Pero sana next time apat na kami, hindi na ako mag-isa."
SANDARA PARK ON WORKING WITH SB19
Another highlight of Acer Day 2024 was Dara's collaboration performance with G22 and SB19.
During the concert, Dara joined G22 on stage to perform her hit song "In or Out" and later teamed up with SB19 for their collab track "Reset."
This marked Dara's first live performance of the song "Reset" with SB19 since its release in December 2023.
After their performance, Dara was asked by event host Luis Manzano about her experience working with SB19.
The K-Pop superstar admitted she felt starstruck working with the group.
In her words, "Siyempre starstruck din ako, di ba? Fan din ako ng SB19! And 'Gento'... Sumayaw rin ako ng 'Gento.' So seeing them, sabi ko, 'Wow!'"
